This better be free because Mafia II absolutely disappointed me. I finished the game in 1 day and a half. Also no free roam after the story like GTA IV. I also hate how if you die, the whole mission loads with cutscenes and nothing saves before if you die. Absolute waste.

Because it's DLC with a new Character, in the same game world, with a story that is likely to tie into the story of the original. I could be wrong, but it just seems like a rip to me, considering Rockstar just did this. I feel like they saw the success that GTA IV had with that and they wanna try to capitalize on it.

If your playing on consoles; GTA looks prettier...

I would have to give the rest to mafia II; you actually have to aim, more realistic driving, better story line, and so on...

2. If touchy handling that causes you to crash every 60 seconds is realistic then yes, Mafia II is a better driving sim than Forza 3.

3. The stand alone Mafia II story line is MAYBE 1/3 as long as the stand alone GTA IV story line, which is much more fleshed out than Mafia II.

I own both and, in my humble opinion, no. GTA IV is still king in my book. Mafia II is a cardboard cut out of every great "Mafia" movie ever made. It's great..... don't get me wrong, but it's nothing new or ground breaking. Worth playing, but don't expect to be blown away.

I say, let it go down in price, but if you MUST have it NOW then go ahead. For consoles, as it stands NOW without DLC, $40 is the sweet spot. If your buying for PC, it's worth the full $50 because it looks and plays much better. I love that Nvidia PhysX, but you need a pretty good rig to run it with Physx on.

No..... PhysX is an Nvidia property. Nvidia makes graphics cards, among other things. And just to briefly explain what that is, it's a downloadable driver for pc that allows for more realistic physics in game, if said game supports it. This just means that cloth reacts better, cars do to. It also allows for more that just ragdoll physics for the NPCs. But no, PhysX is not used in the console version of the game. Hope that helps.
