One of my favorite turns of phrase I've heard from Bruce is definitely "she's got a mango in her garden". The very first time I ever heard Bruce, that line stopped me cold. I was doing day hikes in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with a girlfriend in the 1990s, and I heard that tune come over the radio and I said to myself, wait, what? what did he just sing? I've been hooked, since.

Did he just write that?" But you've already given the perfect response - you just gotta laugh and dig him.

Pacing The Cage conjures up such vivid imagery. It touches the depths of your imagination. Bruce has written some thought provoking lyrics here.

I especially like the notion of proving who you are so many times the magnetic strip is worn thin and the image of a map that will not guide you because the road leads to dark places. Simply brilliant.

When I shot the images, I had no intention of using them in this way. I was just hoping for one nice shot out of a dozen or so as I watched the sun go down. It was only when I put these images with the music that I wished I had shot them with a tripod instead of by hand.
