  • I just tried this and it turned out great! My hair isn't as thick as yours but the results were fabulous. Thanks for the tutorial.

  • your hair is so thick and beautiful!

  • omg how do u do that?! my hair is relaxed and i want my hair to look just like that

  • Beautiful:).

  • Your hair is so beautiful! Just like you ~ I'm going to try this.

  • ur braidouts are so pretty! do u hv any suggest on wat will help me get thicker hair. thank u

  • I love your hair! I will try this process as soon as I take my micro braids out. I have not had a relaxer since October of 2009 and I am looking forward to NOT doing the big chop. My hair is about the same length as yours' but not sure if the grade is the same, I believe you have a smoother texture! Thanks for the motivating videos. You're beautiful!

  • Ur hair is so pretty i wanna go natural but im scared, but im four months post im trying to see how long i can go without it cause i really want to see what my hair is capable of i usually texlax so i sort of know my texture but ur hair hair is beautiful good luck on ur natural journey and forget those hair haters.

  • Is your hair natural or permed? Its absolutely gorgeous!

  • Thanks for sharing, I will give braid out another try, I usually straggle less with twist outs, but after seeing your gorgeous results I will definitely give this a try. Love the look and it is easy on the hair.

  • ur hair is what many women dream for......ur sweet also. keep the vids comming

  • No problem girl! We gotta have each others backs out here! These girls aint made like they used to haha, but yeah, Ima have to add some videos for hair care. Ima hair fanatic!

  • @TheMrszDenay Lol...I realize that more & more each day! Can't wait to see your vids!

  • Your hair is the bomb girl! You can definitely transition to natural hair without the big chop [if your hair is healthy when relaxed]. Those who tend to make those comments about chopping tend to have damaged hair/unhealthy hair and must do so.

  • @TheMrszDenay Thanks girl...those were my exact thoughts, but some people THINK they know my hair better than I do! Comments like the previous one...keep me motivated! Thank you so much for the positive comment!!!

  • there is no way your going to be able to keep your permed ends. You hair will start breaking at the line of dermanation. You can transition for years but you will notice that your permed ends get thinner and thinner.

  • But they are not one... And as ur natural hair grow more and starts to really curl it will fight against ur relaxed hair and start breaking... So while u may not have to do the big chop, eventually u will have to cut that part off!!!

  • @sweething319....I am extremely gentle with my relaxed texture and my natural texture, I don't have two separate regiments...so that why I look at them as one. When I do braidouts my textures blend and when I straighten my textures blend....so will hang on to my relaxed ends until I feel the need to chop them off.

  • @sweething319 Have you seen her update vid? She's now almost a year post and her hair is even longer and thicker than before. Transitioning w/o breakage can be done. . .she's living proof!

  • @sweething319 I agree sooner or later the relaxed hair is gonna break, its life it will grow back ;))

  • wow ur hair is gorgeous. usually ppl go bak to being natural when their permed hair tends to fail them..break off..thin out..ect..but just curious why do u wnt to go natural with ur hair being so long and healthy. u prove all the ppl wrng that say permed hair is unhealthy nd doesnt grow. u represent us...dnt stop.lol jk but seriously why do u wnt 2 cut all of this off?

  • @boosiebad14 Lol...thanks girl! I'm transitioning to natural because I've learnt how to manage my natural texture without chemically straightening it. I have nothing against relaxers....I just feel I no longer need them to manage my hair! When I want silky straight hair I opt for flat ironing now! I will not be chopping off my relaxed hair....I look at both textures as if they are one.

  • love the hair! wow! i will do the same. thank you for the video! kisses!

  • your hair looks real nice

  • how long does it last? do you have to braid it everynight?

  • how do you comb this out??/sleep on it??

  • gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @richeau Thank you ;-)

  • do u have a relaxer?

  • @bubblygj Yes, I am 3 months post relaxer in this vid. I am currently 10 months post...transitioning back to natural!

  • @ninapruitt Hi Love your hair its so beautiful. Why are you transitioning back to natural, if I may ask. Is it due to health of your hair etc...

  • Your hair is SO pretty!

  • @LanaBana2931 Thank you :-)

  • how do you sleep with your hair this wayy?

  • @LovChu I moisturize/seal and rebraid nightly to keep the style looking fresh!

  • Your hair looks gorgeous!!

  • you have the most beautiful braid out!!! :)

Thanks for sharing, your seem so healthy and beautiful.

  • why did you perm your hair just to make it curly again? Its soo beautiful. straight and curly.

  • @xxmuzicchickxx

    It's called a hairstyle.

  • @blahblahblahman wow a sense a lot of sarcasm in that comment. lol But I guess mine was kind of rhetorical/obvious so what do you expect

  • Your hair looks beautiful;). So jealous , lol.:p

  • you are pretty you look Nivea. :)

  • @greenflames21...Thank you, I <3 Nivea!

  • your hair is so full and thick.. luv it

  • Hey ma'am..I loved this tutorial. I tried it out on my hair and loved the results but at the end of the day my hair was really tangled. Do you have any suggestions for this?

  • @TheErinD22...Usually dryness causes tangling, so making sure the hair is well moisturized with a good creme moisturizer b4 braiding will help...products that contain shea butter works well for me. Also at night I gentle separate my hair in sections and lightly spritz with cold spring water to remoisturize and lightly seal with coconut oil and then rebraid. Doing this help keep hair soft, moisturized and help get rid of some shedded hairs that could cause future tangling/knots.

  • @ninapruitt ....thanks so much ma'am. Moisture was the problem. I used some coconut oil and it came out great. Thanks for the help

  • this is soo pretty and your hair look really healthy. i tried this style but my hair is a bit shorter

  • @Nitra813...Thanks Girl!

  • i love this video!! add me please!! hey did you use any gel on your hair at all in this video to get your curls the way you did. and how long did your curls last?

  • @nicholstisha1...Thank you, no gel used. This style will stay looking fresh for 2 -3 days, then I will moisturize/seal & rebraid to revitalize the curls!

  • is your hair relaxed? if not im going to try this style. 2 cute

  • @calledforhiswill this style works on natural and relaxed hair. just moisturize well

  • @calledforhiswill...My hair is relaxed, will work on natural hair too!

  • I love your hair! I use perm rods on my ends but I am interested in those silk rollers u use

  • Hi Nina, I've been viewing your hair videos for about 1month, and I must say I am soooo impressed. Your videos have inspired me to take better care of my hair. You're awesome girl! Keep up the good work.

  • @blackhairis...Thank you so much :-)

  • @ahsenerb27....EVOO should work just as good!

  • lol the earings i have and identical pair :)

  • I'm a new subscriber and I must say.... your hair is absolutely lovely. Keep it up>

  • @QueenNeat....thanks for subbing!!!

  • Do you have a relaxer or is your hair just natural, because i don't have one and i just get my hair pressed and i'm not sure if this will work on my hair as well if i don't have a relaxer.

  • @LOLWILD...yes I have a relaxer but transitioning to natural...this style will work on naturals too!

  • It works better on natural hair! The waves are more defined!!!

  • Gorgeous!!

  • Nina, you are the Queen Coiffeuse! All of your techniques are wonderful and your hair is absolutely AMAZING!!!
