Its not about grudges or hate. Its about looking at him by race and color. He don't want to be looked as a black man. He just wants to be a normal president like every other one. Yeah he's half white and black but that don't mean nothing.
It actually does mean something, it means the American population at large would rather appoint a free thinking *semi* black intelligent male than a stuffy old white guy with overly conservative ideals.
If you would have watched more of the news you would have realized people didn't want another bush. (Mc'Cain) America wouldn't have cared if the man was Mexican. They heard his perspective and admired it. Being a *semi* white/black guy had nothing to do with the picture although some saw it that way, but that's because their short minded. Your mind couldn't begin to fathom the real ideal of this hole situation. Sounds to me as if you were bent on the idea of what skin color he is.
Not really. 95% percent of African Americans voted for Obama. Obviously its because of the skin color. Although they all voted for him don't mean he won because of that.. Only 13% of the American population is black which means lots of whites voted for him. That fact contradicts what you just said. People still do vote because of color. It ain't going to be in our life time when the day comes people start seeing people for them and not color. Both sides white/black need to get along already.

I'm merely alluding to the message it sends republicans and conservatives in general: that their time is over.
Americans have finally proved they are willing to cast their gaze beyond the veil of skin and see deeper into a candidate.
This video, as I said before, is made to rub in the faces of people who do hold his skin color against him.
