  • There is a clear cut line between scribbles (graffiti) and street art.

  • Uhm, no, the line between art and vulgar imagery is huge. The amount of intent and devotion required to create Wandjina is too great for slanderous vandals to arbitrarily go around sticking it everywhere. There's some reason behind it showing up everywhere. When the icon of a Great Spirit from the Dreamtime starts manifesting everywhere there's some sort of awakening involved, though for what purpose I have no idea.

  • It was a white guy, trying to get famous. There is a film about it. If the elders who guard the original images find him they will spear him.

  • its bullshit that means every other piece on an abandon building is "street art"
