you see, i love you product and it works fine, and so does the Format factory. but when i try to put .mp4 and .avi files on the device, it comes up with a format error or half of the bottom video is messed up, i have tried different settings when converting them but it won't work, can you tell me why, and what im doing wrong?

In regards to your issue, if you are referring to this MP4 in particular it should only handle AVI files, this would solve your issue with .MP4. In regards to .avi files could you send a file to support @ chinavasion . com so we can analyze it?

i had dropped this same mp4 player and it had worked again and again i used this atleast 3 hrs a day tops and plus i made a video on this excellent mp4 i wish you guys can make one with all the same features but with game but keep up the good work

I have bought this player from Chinavasion.

It will play AVI files without conversion but it has some software to convert everything else to AVI. I got it on a disc and it is called AVI converter.

It will pretty much change everything to the right AVI format and I think there are lots of open source options out there if you didn't get the software.

All I really want is to listen to music, and this feels much better to my wallet. If you're cheap like me, and have $50 to spare, get it. Plays my MP3's and WMA's very well. I leave it in my car, and it takes the cold (about 15F-20F at night) It has a very sharp display, plays movies/videos excellently. Buy this to replace an iPod touch? No. But, its worth having for saving up to, or if you just cant afford one. They have a model with a 1.3mp camera, which is a neat feature to have, but mine is the 16gb no camera.

I just bought one for $60, shipped from California. I must say this thing is very light, half the size of a brick and mine did not include a stylus, BUT responds VERY well to my fingers. LCD is crystal clear, touch responce is nice, and built in speaker isn't half bad.

After reading some of reveiws and pricing, looks like pricing is actually higher than buying here in USA. China is low Low income country and looks like they want the American buck.

It's a decent player when you can easily navigate. Not sure if the one I have is the same as this one but it looks identical and came from china. I finally got tired of having to calibrate it every 2 minutes and slammed it against the wall. So no I don't recommend it sorry.
