Technically that should not have been a goal, assuming when the ball bounced it was not over the line. The same thing happened, albeit less dramatically in the world cup, from memory it was France-Italy in 82 but I'd need to check and we learned afterwards that once the ball bounces off the post or crossbar and lands on the pitch, the play is finished
