You should have just blasted the other turkey and given it to the neighbors who are hungry most of the time. At that distance use 00 buckshot, just aim for the head.

it actually was a Jake, last day of the season and those were the only two birds we could get on. My hills turkey I shot was pretty big

Now why did you have to go do that for? It looks like the two turkeys were a couple or family. The other turkey was obviously all stressed out seeing it's parter or mate like that.

are you kidding me, I shot the turkey right in the head, thats what happens when you make a head shot they flop around. As far as SHE its actually a HE as it is a Gobbler being the MALE of the turkeys.
