I live in Altadena. Normally I can see the Mt Wilson towers from my backyard and rear house windows.
At the time of this writing, it's been so smoky the last few days, I can no longer see the towers.
At night I have been able to barely see the red glows from the fire.
Mt Wilson is only 7 miles over the hill from our home.
I'm glad we don't live any closer to the Foothills.

i used to live close to hastings ranch and the foothills were about a mile away from my house its gunna break my heart if mount wilson burns.
