  • Looking at it again, "mastery of the first force" is more likely a reference to Newton, who, just like Einstein, seems to have taken a thing that follows a flux rule, made it fluxless and then made no credible public effort to try to correct that, and the media couldn't care less. At least Newton clearly stated he was making no attempt to explain what happened in the space between masses. GR has no such disclaimer and the media still worships it. GR's a master's religion, just like BB and CAGW.

  • "... the industrial revolution was in part spurned on by the mastery of the first force, gravity."

Spurned fits best here, though I'm 100% sure Kaku would redact, which along with his phrasing "mastery of the first force" (no doubt a reference to GR) makes Kaku one of the most annoying NWO trolls. "Mastery": How a guy takes a thing that seems to follow a flux rule, makes it fluxless, then pretends to try to fix that for the rest of his life, and gets away with it, with a buttload of media help.

  • Genesis? Why are you talking about fairy tales in a science themed video?

  • @13game3 Since when are scientists not allowed to use metaphor?

  • Theoretical physicist? Just a theoretical physicist? I think this guy IS the theory of everything.

  • listining to this guy is my brains version of 5 mile run

  • Shit just got real.

  • I just love his theories. I know I am no one to comment on his theory, but I think they are all true. I was an admirer of Stephan Hawking, but now I think Michio Kaku's much better. Michio Kaku, you ROCK. I am your biggest fan

  • why are we not teaching this stuff in our schools?

  • If we're all supposed to be under something impossible to get over, then what possibly could be the point of talking about it but to contradict it.

  • Enlightening, but who can forget the big bang preface contained in the Book of Vomitus.

  • Forget the theory of everything... Life is the problem , Death is the solution.

  • I wonder if this guy is a genius in every dimension.

  • i cant measure the peculiarity of this universe.. why're everything so surprising?

  • It's so interesting to hear what he says ..

and it's funny how almost everyone in the comment sections trying to sound smart xD

  • Scientist: "We have just discovered what the theory of everything is. The very force that drives the universe, how we were created and evolved, what came before the big bang, before God, before earth. An all encompassing answer of where we came from and what created us, and what our future holds"

Catholic: "Sounds like God created the theory of everything"

    *sigh*

  • To hell with being masters of space and time! I want a damn television with perfect, crystal clear color and I want it NOW!!!

  • @Vaizorg I just want the government to stop taking money from me. IT'S MY MONEY AND I WANT IT NOW!!!

  • some how science and religion co exist or puzzle together. when god said "let there be light" he was probably reffering to the big bang. and when zacharia saw a floating wheel in the sky it could have been eather a wormhole or a ufo. i think some how science and religion both go toether in some way.

  • @dangertv12345 The big bang started with a due to a destabilization, a vibration in the atoms. what is that? sound. And after that, quite a bit of light. lol. What so called "intellectuals" avoid advanced science and point to study;s done before we had cars to disprove God. The truth is that the more advanced science gets, the closer we get to Religion.

  • @X7ELI7X

"The truth is that the more advanced science gets, the closer we get to Religion."

How predictable is that if the same NWO rich benefactors club funds both.

  • my mind has been blown... for the 42th time today

  • Last sentece said in other words: We are gonna play gods.

    .

    .

    .

Not saying I don't like it. But it kinda scares me.

  • @ThePangemin It should, only people who can handle it should do it.

  • 42

  • Michio Kaku should replace that one guy from the beer commerical as the "world's most interesting man".

  • @TheVitaminj12 Ikr?

  • this guy is figuring out what our universe was before it was even created.

im figuring out how to get my girlfriend to blow me tonight.

    *sigh*

  • Still waiting for the Doctor.

  • Everything = Nothing: The "Zero Principle." Zero is "balance." 0+1=1; 0-1=-1. -1+1=0. Before the bang, there was balance, which is to say, there was NOTHING (which is EVERYTHING in PERFECT BALANCE). Something was either added or taken away to throw it off balance & EVERYTHING spilled forth in a Big Bang. And if Something exists separate & apart from Nothing, it is by any definition a Higher Power. Science & God aren't mutually exclusive... it's Science & Religion that have issues.

  • @mrsfineanddandy yes, but will it blend?

  • he wanted to say masters of the universe

  • OMG that's it!

The Doctor likes humans so much because the Time Lords were once basic humans.

  • born to soon, well fuck

  • Wow, groovy !

  • I love hearing what Kaku has to say, but was this video necessary?

  • What is on the other side of a black hole that took a big bang? A Turd the bitch had 1 in the Chamber POOOO!

  • Amazing Theory! Just saw it on YT. Makes a lot of sense, very logical & well reasoned.Taking into account several different schools of thought. Remarkable really. The Irony of it all is the name of the Theory...... Athene.......as in Athena godess of wisdom, Odysseus,Jason & Heracles. Kinda Sucks in a way for my generation will never really know how the benefits of this knowledge with Fusion reactors, Global terraforming & human inter-system travel! I welcome the future hope it's better'npast

  • @josephsimeon that's exactly wat a theory is, a lot of support although not yet proven.

  • Don't hate me but wouldn't it be String Hypothesis, I personally will say theory when it has been proven, I know it can't be dis-proven either but it still hasn't been proven, I know they are on the verge of proving it but they have been on the verge of proving it for a long time now, I am not saying it's not science I am just saying it's not fact (yet or not yet)..

  • he looks like my coach lol

  • everything is connected in someway. there's the theory of everything

  • @Siedlerdeo well a black hole is created when a matter collapses under its own weight and there lies the continuity that then ur big bang isnt the real one coz how was the former matter created...

  • @spiegeltn well you can approximately ignore a few small ones and get the approximate results den carry improve that result... dats how reality can only be hoped to get solved by mankind...

  • am i the only one who thought of building a TARDIS after that final line?

  • @lollypopalopicus I thought that too :P.

  • @lollypopalopicus Hell yeah, let's make one. But I insist we go to more interesting places than modern day England like Dr. Who seems to be obsessed with. lol

  • No matter what the theory of everything is, religious people still won't believe it.

  • @boblabon Not necessarily, some people who are religious or spiritual still believe in science. I believe in God but believe in evolution and what science is and teaches. Try not to bunch us up all together lol.

  • @boblabon religion without science is blind....i agree, but what if their was that religion that somehow explains everything according to science.

  • @boblabon religion and science are not always bitter

    enemies.

  • @boblabon I believe I AM going to write a book -- to CHANGE the BELIEVERS into KNOWERS ...

And Yes, Science has to come along for the ride to confirm it all for them ;)

  • @boblabon no matter what the theory of everything is, ppl like you dosen't want to understand it.. im atheist but it may still be possible that theory of everything is god.. maybe not christian god but it may be some sort of "god" or "god-like" being

  • @boblabon I am highly offended by this. I'm a very religious person who is planning to major in Physics in college next year. Religion and science are NOT mutually exclusive. It's all based on interpretation, and not every religious person is closed-minded.

  • @boblabon Unless of course it is God, than the atheists won't believe it.

  • I wanna become a master of space and time...

  • "and christians... has a book... and..."

  • If you want the universe explained to you, just ask me. I'm the antichrist.

  • I just wanna punch a cat for some reason right now

  • So if we master the theory of everything we will become Timelords?

  • This man makes me want to study physics all the more.

  • so... if we discover what "god" is, we become god?

  • so if universes are bubbles... God is some soap and a ring?

  • Like any other scientific and/or technological discovery some men will use it to dominate other man, namely The West (United States and United Kingdom, mainly). Then the other nations who want that same power will try to acquire it to destroy the perceived evil ones who are trying to keep them from experiencing the same joys and benefits of having such powerful knowledge (Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, China, etc.) So basically, we discover a "theory of everything and everything is over!

  • @Renniegade2death LOL how about we become a planet of one single nation or country work, live, trieve as a whole. one single president or world leader, one economy, one currency, one military for the benifit of Earth and its inhabitians. embrace education and techology.

  • @lilHippo This isn't the conspiracy channel, and how anything you just said relates to my comment beats me.

  • @lilHippo sadly that was in The Bible as something that's supposed to be bad, so most Christians would freak out about that happening and would screw it up.

  • Eleven... dimension... al?

    My head asplode.

  • I don't understand how he knows everything about everything. He would be the first person I would expect to come up with the theory of everything.

  • Wow, These videos make me think of EVERYTHING! This is great altough i can't slepp...

  • all that n-back training pulled off

  • masters of space and time. gallifreyan style.

  • I admire Michio Kaku. He's soo d-mn genius. I like listening to his speeches. Deep yet simple.

  • Wow.

  • Aren't black holes just super-condensed planets - similar to neutron stars?

  • @JBroMCMXCI Are you serious?

  • @kobil316SH Yes. You know anything I don't?

  • @JBroMCMXCI A black hole is a region of spacetime from which nothing, not even light, can escape. Usually caused by the gravitational collapse of a star.

  • @kobil316SH Yes and I'm sure you're aware the centre of a black hole is a singularity, but I'm asking if it's correct to think a black hole is essentially the same as a planet with a core and a strong gravitational field. If you don't know, don't try to answer.

  • @JBroMCMXCI One question just poped into my head.

What if the big bang was a black hole?

And we are wat whas sucked through?

In the same way we cant look through a black hole, we cant look back through it :P

  • @Siedlerdeo If we were the other side of a black hole, we'd see a steady flow of matter enter our universe rather than one big bang lasting billionths of a second. But it's entirely possible our universe used to be a black hole - our universe could have existed before but ended in a 'crunch' where all matter was sucked into a black hole. Then this black hole exploded, causing the big bang and the creation of our universe. This isn't the fate of ours now, however.

  • @JBroMCMXCI

Yeah I get what you'r saying

  • see thomas campbell my big toe. the most amazing information i have come across .

  • well honestly, im happy the internet wont change or the t.v. I love the way stuff is right now. Honestly when i heard they were making 3D t.v.'s a year ago or so i was scared that every nigga was gonna be wearing glasses when watching t.v. and stuff LOL :P

  • I want him as my teacher *-*

  • @dublaq go to New York City University its a great school and has open admissions for most majors. Went there for my BA (and than to Columbia for Master's never leaving school) and I saw Dr. Kaku in the halls all the time always chewing gum. Nice guy

  • just wait for december 2012

  • Once I got this idea that the big bang was actually the other side of a black hole.

I imagined black holes to be a huge something always absorbing everything around it.

  • @th4n4t0s25 You're not the only one, it's been brought up before and is a very reasonable proposition. A black hole contains a singularity. The beginning of the universe contains a singularity. It's impossible (as far as we now so far) see inside of a black hole as it is impossible to see beyond the beginning of the universe. This raises questions about what happens to a universe when the blackhole evaporates as predicted by Hawking radiation or how far does the universal lineage go?

  • @th4n4t0s25 that is part of my theory. Either a black hole ,something so absent of everything on one side is creating something on the other. Or something that is the region of "spacetime" ( Space and time ) can work like a wormhole and link parrallel universes

  • I wanna be a master of the space and time! and I wanna pilot the Voyager!

  • Check out my Theory of Everything. Its the Ultimate Truth. ciscosphere(dot)wordpress(dot)/category/uncategorized/ or got to twitter @TheFranc

  • HUH .... do u believe in Genesis

  • A theory of everything wouldn't mean shit. We've had many of them already. That's what every religion is, that's what Aristotelian physics is, that's what Newtonian physics is, that's what Einsteinian physics is. String theory only explains everything NOW, which isn't really a difference since every "theory of everything" did that once. We only succeed when we discover more stuff that proves the old theories wrong, which Michio even kind of admitted at the start of the video.

  • Wow. Interesting..

  • I think I just figured out where the Time Lords came form :D

  • @Jgs92692 Gallifrey?

  • @Jgs92692 yay my great great great great great (goes on for awhile) grand child will be the doctor

  • thanx. it wouldve been me?. o_0

  • i sparred all of you from seeing 666 comments, enjoy your day,

  • string theory cant be proved. even if higgs boson is found, so WHAT?!? it could just mean something else, entirely different. michio is the only one whos really that enthusiastic about string theory, because its his theory. he thought of it. is it true? can it be proved? it would be nice, but im just keeping it real

  • @theblueisyou if we find the higgs boson then the standard model for 4% of matter is complete. String theory is a theory of everything because it would include the dimensionsal possibilities of all matter. Michio is NOT the only one excited about string theory. It's a scientific theory because multiple independent sources cooarborate it with evidence.

  • He sounds like Bill Maher.

  • @eswyatt Hell no! your crazy...

  • @HamzaNYC My crazy what?

  • @eswyatt LOL trololol I mean't you're

  • @HamzaNYC Ok, but what does mean't" mean?

  • @eswyatt Not even close, see Bill Maher is a fucking moron and this guy is a fucking genius.

  • @xHippieHunter "Sounds like" as in voice sounds like. Not as in has the same ideas, or has the same intellect.

  • P00P = syntax error therefore the unverse exists

  • I am a Scientific Evolutionist, I hope I will still be here when it happens.

  • EVERYONE WHO WATCHES THESE VIDEOS!!!! your never gonna witness these theories because you'll be dead in a few years :)

  • @TheKSProduction i wont know and i wont care :)

  • In long term, the researchers researching this will lose their jobs

  • @APPLESNACKPATEL i'm sure they'll find other jobs

  • obviously we will never know the theory of everything, since the universe and all neighboring universes, and all of existence are infinitely getting larger and infinitely getting smaller, the same must be true for knowledge - and isn't that a good thing because what would the world be if we ran out of things to learn.

  • @SlapstickCoyote what the fuck are you talking about??? by saying 'obviously' we won't find the theory of everything is complete bullshit..the great Physicist Michio Kaku just said eventually we will find the Theory of everything eventually so how did you come to your stupid conclusion without any evidence? Seriously, you do know you don't make any fucking sense... our knowledge about the world is expanding and so is our Universe and that's a fact.. your "infinitely" speech is fucking nonsense.

  • @TechNoirReplicant because fuckface McGee who wastes his life trying to prove people wrong by commenting on their comments just to get attention but failing miserably, Kaku has gone on record stating that the universe is infinitely expanding. If you think its nonsense than you just contradicted your own beliefs because hes the one who said it. Do your brain a favor and crawl out of your mothers basement and get her to make you a hoagie, Nerdlinger.

  • @SlapstickCoyote but the truth is the universe isnt infinite meaning eventually we will know everything in this dimension. Then we will travel to other universes with different physics and laws but then again that universe is not infinite meaning eventually we will run out of things to learn. The only hope we have is to leave behind our knowledge we learned from every universe behind so we can create a cycle of learning and forgeting

  • @DanteBoy721 well thats just stupid.

  • @SlapstickCoyote ya i know :(

  • i think i got it!

    The theory of everything:

Any object or thought or being of any universe can have any result, outcome, or interpretation. [Anything = anything]

  • @SlapstickCoyote how helpful.

    lol

  • speed has no limit

  • Inb4 random Arabic writing... Oh damn it! I'm too late.

  • google the higgs boson particle. This apparently is the missing link in the equation or something like that (im certainly no expert) but scientist and CERN say that they will be able to know for sure whether it exists or not by the end of 2012.. heres hoping they find it

  • @sodafountan it? you do know the 'god' particle is simply a particle that moves in and out of our reality, so from our perspective it seems to apear out of nothing.

  • Humans, masters of space and time... we're all doomed.

  • Other side of a black hole... my semen. * Bah dump chhhh

  • The theory of everything is unattainable, because the second someone thinks of it, his head would just explode

  • Theory :) The ecological purpose of intelligent technological species is the preservation of biospheres and habitats when the native planets and stars are no longer able to do so.

Question: If intelligent technological species are a regular phenomenon in biospheres, what are the theological (and other philosophical) implications?

  • GUOM..

  • His voice turns funny at 1:50

  • oh man ever since i saw the big bang theory .. i fell in love with physics ... damn now i wanna be a physicist

  • Did he just describe the internet?.. AI and the Web. Another world....

  • by the power of grey skull!!

  • can we please master surviving on earth as on first plz?

  • Silence will fall when the question is asked.

  • there is probably 7 other forces, you should try and figure those out before trying to understand the theory of everything, just saying

  • when i can shoot lightning and fire out of my hands, ill be happy :3

  • i cant imagine why anyone would dislike this video

  • @gustavoalan86 one word .....christians haha

  • I think we have ourselves the 12th Doctor.

  • 42?

  • masters of space and time...time lords anyone?

  • @punbaca I just thought the same thing.

  • @punbaca You mean... the TARDIS!?!

  • Belief in a religion is powered by emotion and not reason. Don't bother with them. If they were truly reasonable, they would've taken their noses out of their bible and ACTUALLY looked up counter arguments and realized everything they're saying have already been DEBUNKED a billion times. Honestly, they're just trolls unaware that they're trolls.

  • I think Jim Henson was on to something. I think there were some answers there.... With his interpretation of Time In A Bottle...

A must see if your interested in The String Theory. It's here on YouTube..

  • i want to marry this guy.....hope my wife wont mind

  • But with every theory of the scientist comes also even greater responsibility for mankind and as I see it now, it is far from being strong and wise enough to actually control space and time.

  • @pabloenis That's why only god can controll it. what if we did bend time into a pretsle? what if we made things repeat over and over? The concuquences would be that if we would go back in time or keep re-living time, then nothing would ever continue and we would change everything. if nothing continued then we couldnt make it continue because we would be back in time and by the time we know about bending time, time will repeat. and if we change the future, we change who/what is born

  • @IRISHDRUNK1243 and god wouldnt let us change who is created and goes to heaven. (and if you dont believe in go then thats fine, but would you want humanity to be changed to somthing it wasnt supposed to be changed to?

  • one word... 'wow'

  • How incredible that in this day and age, I can sit here, a high school student from Mass. and listen to one of the smartest men in the world talk about evreything and anything. The world is so incredible.

  • MICHIO - think! Isaac Newton discoverd Gravity, but all the ancient science new before how to build their worlds where our science today in knowing Newtons laws still wonder how. And the industrial revolution has also brought us ALL the problems we face worldwide today. Same with any other discovered form of powers you named that lead Governments and selfelected Leaders in enslaving others. This has been "the theory of everthing" eversince. Lets change that, otherwise nothing will ever change.

  • i felt he was about to laugh at the last line he said-- this in my opinion is falling into science fiction
