  • I love your one leg spin on quads video and all your quad skate videos. You are so beautifull and gracefull and have the most beautifull brown eyes and smile. Are you going to post more roller skating videos? How long have you been roller skating?

  • how do you do that?

ive tried but my speed skates dont spin. is it your trucks or something?

  • where did u get ur boots from i really like them ive been looking for white ones so i can just always change the colour of the wheelsss, can u tell me where u got them from or can any one tell me where to get a pair of purre white ones.

ps. i lie in the uk

  • @CharayneGordon You can Google "Artistic roller skates" and there are a lot of websites that ship to UK. I don't remember where I got mine because it was like 5 years ago :D

  • Which Reidell Boot number do U have? I have a 297 and Just bought the Reidell 336 Tribute boots. I use a Snyder Super Deluxe plate.

  • @shalamar07 I don't know the number of the boot... My plate is Sure Grip - Competitor

  • @shalamar07 ... They look like 220s. If she changes her brakes to dance plugs... she will get a more controlled spin.

  • Wow, she is hot....

she should come to Skate-a-Thon2011 on laborday weekend.

  • I would like to ask what is the brand/ model of your skates. I'm Planning to buy. what site. Thank you,

  • @swellstuff The boots are Riedell and the plate is Sure Grip. I got them as a gift 4 years ago so I don't know from what site.

  • WTF

  • look mama take them big toe stops off.a real skater don't need toe stops they only hold u back,ur good but u move timid go hard, try harder it needs 10 times more speed, but if ur a beginner then ur doin great"THE KING"

  • Artistic skaters do need the big toe stops, home fry, especially for advanced jumps when you need something to launch you into the air.

  • @T09Bryant i personally don't think it matters it all depends on tha skater themselves and to launch your self in the air you can always just jump but i guess you can't propel forward as well but you really don't need them to be an artistic skater....

  • In artistic skating, there are some jumps that you don't use your stops for, called edge jumps, which include axels, salchows, and loops. However, jumps like the toe-loop, lutz, and flip do actually *require* a takeoff with the toe stop.

But whatever floats your boat, dogg. I've never seen a competing artistic skater who doesn't use them. Luca D'Alisera, Roberto Riva, Marcel Sturmer, Jayson Sutcliffe, etc.

  • lol thats a my bad i mistook artistic akting for jam skating lol now i sound like a tard :P

  • um get jam pugs because wen u get the spin ur break wont be holdin ur back

  • nope you can spin that way, and at a competition you wouldn't get marks off for doing it like that. i know a girl and she spins anti clockwise.

  • oh thats good cause i can't spin the other way. but i'm not going to competitions so it's not a problem :) thanks for all the comments. i didn't expect that this will be my most viewed video haha :)

  • i think you are spinning in the wrong direction..i roller figure skate, but i am pretty sure you are spinning the wrong way.

  • it's the opposite direction but it's the same way of spining like counterclockwise it's just on the other leg. i don't know maybe it's not permited in roller skating but it is on ice. there are many reverse skaters.

    :)

  • It's permited, but it is harder to spin clockwise. I'm... right handed? XD My english definatly(?) sucks. XD

Did you ever try to spin on your left leg?

Sorry about the 4, I guess the names outside my country are different. It's lifting your leg in a way that from some distance, your legs look like a 4, lol. Like what police tells someone to do when they suspect the person is drunk, lol.

  • i'm left handed thats why it's easier for me to spin clockwise. i have tried the "normal" way it's almost imposible for me. now i know what's a 4 but i don't know the name in English. thanks for the help :)

  • You're welcome. ^^ It's almost impossible for me to spin the way you do, lol.

  • in roller figure i'm not sure, but i think its okay, but in competition you still lose points..

and you hardly ever get any skater to go that way..

just heads up..but keep practicing. :D

  • As far as I know, you don't lose points for that. Some people are left handed, that's the normal way for them to do the spin. But then again, different countries, it may be allowed in mine and not in yours. :P

  • Then, it's like, you do a "4" and spin. My english sucks, hope you understand it. XD If you don't let me know. XD

    Love to skate. ^^

  • thanks :) i spin clockwise that's why i'm on my right leg. i don't know what's a "4"

    love to skate too :D

  • Hey, I don't know ice skating spins, but i figure skate in roller skates. You're doing that the harder way. XD The almost impossible way. XD

First of all the leg on the floor is your left, not the right one. And you should put your right leg behind the left one, with your toepick(?) on the floor, it makes it easier to get strength to spin. But you can't just bring it to it's place and spin, you gotta hm... put it up and bring it to the front straight, then you bend it when it is on it's place.

  • nice :) i'm sure you will get it soon. Plus any kind of roller skates are much harder to spin then ice skates for sure. Good luck with that and if you have any way to do that ... you better take the skates outside. I used to skate with mine in the livingroom - now we have no tiles :D :D :D

  • thanks. i have toe stop marks on my floor, but it's mine room and i don't care :D. i only spin there i skate outside in a playing yard but wooden surface is better for spinning
