The music should never be louder than the dialog, that was the only part that got to me. Also, are you Australian or British. It's hard for us Americans to distinguish the difference in accent sometimes.
Pretty good movie, but to be a great low budget horror film it needs a bit more gore and a few shots of nude girls, or at least women running around in their panties..
I like :) Nice filter. The green tint is always effective. You have a nice camera too.
Can you check out my brand new horror film that I made? It's called Paranormal Tactics. The title doesn't make sense until the end, trust me :) I made it all by myself in one night, and it ain't bad for that amount of time.
Nice video (: Watch mine on my page? It is only 2:40 seconds, but me and my friends just randomly did anything, because we didn't have ideas. Uploading a second one which is 25 minutes long, too, soon! :D
This is a pretty good plot. Nothing to comment on there, but i really can not stand the colour correction or whatever you did to make it green like that. sorry. good acting and the editing is alright, but try and move camera angles more as you have probably already heard alot. all in all, i am going to watch the whole thing im interested, but those are a few things i think you could fix in your next movies.
Man you remind me of me when I was your age. I love it! Btw great story and editing. Awesome first movie. "Oh sorry I got homework... that I don't plan on doing!"
pretty good, i liked the storyline, nice color put out, the only thing to fix in the future is the music;not too loud, and only in essential parts of the movie (not through all the clip)
The whole introduced but not seen happens in part 2. And i know i relied on the music too much, This was my first movie so it was sorta the "learn from my mistakes" one.
funny thing about horror movies is that the closing and barrakading doors and windows is that it always gets back at them like if a serial killer is already in that room and they barrackade the doors and windows the serial killer can get tem easily some how
@TNA796 On windows if you have a smaller budget go for something like Ulead video studio or cyberlink power director. If you have a bigger budget look for something like Adobe Premier, Sony Vegas or Avid.
The camera and editing program cost around $700 dollars (NZD) but there were also props like the gun, the blood, the food (hahaha) and the chess board. These cost around $50 NZD altogether.
That was good but... The music when you were opening the letter try not to have th emusic so loud and th emusic sounded sad and not scary, great editing!!! and I agree with whm94 don't keep the camera rolling too long in one location.
Pretty good. Greaty editing for the most part. A couple of scenes, where there was an obvious cut, in the middle of the shot and a few choppy music cuts, but overall veyr good. Two thigns I would sday, are to first dont keep the camera going for so long in scenes, constantly chnage up the angles, dont follow the person around ever, also donty use more than 30 seconds of a song, or else, usually someone will catch it, and report it, and ur vid will get deleted.
You guys are great!!!! Would you like you look at my horror movie I made called darkness + trailer plz check it out :3

Yeah, It's a regret. I think I've moved past that annoying 'music too loud' thing now.
And I'm a New Zealander, but born in the UK.

Your music is too loud, it kind of ruins the essence of the movie.
I do like the colour scheme used in the film, the effect.

Talk about layed back. it was good except for the music you used a little to much lol but it was better then wat ive ever made
BloodyBlade717 2 years ago
this would be better if the serial killer could be seen, but not introduced to add effect, and cut off the music (you rely on it too much)
