Cut Pete some slack , He obviously hadn't sang this for sometime because he's refering to his notebook. It's not an easy song to play because in g-a-d-d-a-a-d the G-string is tuned up to "A". Refer back to his Deep End Album of 1985 and listen to that pristeen recording !
