If this is recorded from a playback situation, why would he bother getting the notes right? I wouldnt if I would sing playback. You can probably take any artist and record them when they "sing" playback and get a similar result. I work in the music business and i've been singing onstage for years. It's true that he shouldn't have been recorded while just shooting this performance which more than likely was for a video. It's hard to get your voice in pitch to a track without proper monitoring. However, he also shouldn't sound quite as bad as this either. His pitch should have a little bit better memory for his own song. It's puzzling. It's probably a lack of stage time with song.

That is exactly what he was doing. He was goofing around since it was a lip sync performance. Enrique went on the Howard Stern show to clear this matter up. Research it. Google it, and you will see that this video has made its rounds since 2000. Enrique knows about it & Howard Stern's radio show confronted him yrs ago. Enrique showed up live & sang the song acoustically to prove it wrong.

I work in the music business and i've been singing onstage for years. It's true that he shouldn't have been recorded while just shooting this performance which more than likely was for a video. It's hard to get your voice in pitch to a track without proper monitoring. However, he also shouldn't sound quite as bad as this either. His pitch should have a little bit better memory for his own song. It's puzzling. It's probably a lack of stage time with song.

You're right-I got carried away-Not EVERYBODY would sound this bad, but i'm glad some people understood what I meant in my previous comment :) That maybe he had a reason to sing this bad given the situation.I felt that some comments were "out of context".I didn't mean he was a good singer at all...studio trickery is probably handy for him...like many others anyway!

I cannot stand the guy and his music, but, dammit, it's unfair : This is how EVERYBODY would sound if they couldn't hear themselves sing !In a lip-synch situation the playback is loud in the room, so you're singing to yourself without any monitoring whatsoever.I'm sure it's what happened here, and some dude recorded what came out of the microphone on the soundboard- which is really not cool.

He really should sing better than this no matter the situation. I´ve been working alot with pro-singers as a bassplayer and most of them are so secure that they can sing almost without hearing themselves.
And its the same for me as a bassplayer. I cant always hear myself when I play on stage and I just have to practise to e able to cope with that.
He really shouldnt make money on music cause their are thousends of ordinary people that in that situation sings alot better than him

this is actually not a fake. The clip was aired on swedish tv a couple of years ago. Enriques soundmixer did get angry on Enrique and turned on his mic on stage. And the songwriter Andreas Carlson who have made songs for britney Spears,Celine dion and others have said that Enrique sings horrible live and that he only became famous because of his dad.
my conclusion:
Enique actually can't sing and as they say in swedish on this clip;
outside may be more important than the voice..

Do you have a link to that? I know this silly dub isn't Enrique. It's the people who aren't fans of him, who are confused and fooled. (it's almost funny that so many ppl would think that it's authentic when you hear the music drowned out in the background, which would not air or be recorded like that anywhere).

Well...that is he singing for reals. They kept the mic on after he went to sing (I think somewhere in Poland) and they got him good. If he wants he can sing much better than this, but he didn't care cause there was background music, so just "lip sync", but to look real you must kind of sing it. There are a lot of bitches (male and female) saying that it isn't him. Go world! (Check his "concerts". He seldom if ever, changes the lyrics, cause he needs the CD sound)

He didn't use his last name when he got his record deal, they found out after they signed him! Sorry to say but you don't go on to sell 40 million albums just because you have a famous daddy!

on the show, it sounded good. cuz they hade the background/playback singing on. but this is actually a recording from just the mic. the soundguy on the televisioncompany took just the mic channel and recorded it. secretly. he wasnt alowed to do that, but did it anyway. he wanted to show the world how fake enrique is. he sings awful.

actually this isn't fake! he sings like shit! in big performances they can "on set and scene" calibrate your voice & make it sound amazing, its an easy fuckin trick. i know alot of audio stage hands and techs that did shit like that back in school in and out in studios. on small sets like this, i guarentee u thats the real deal! perfect example,ashley simpson! if your throat was that fucked up, then dont step on stage. its all hand made music, dont be stupid people.
