Outstanding! I've read the book twice and seen the movie...well a few times. You need to get a better camera and take some vids of peoples reactions to "Christine" acting up when they get close...it would be a riot! ;-)

I'd love to set mine on a remote start but you have to WOT before turning the key to set the choke and fast idle, then after a minute or two, tap the throttle to drop the idle to the second choke idle setting or the engine will remain at high idle. I thought the original Christine had the offset carb setup on the engine.

Actually, lots of people come up to me and wonder how i got it to work on CARBED engine, VS the easy way with Fuel injection...Simple, make sure there's enough heat in the engine to keep it running without stalling.. she's fires right up every time...And yes, I have scared the hell outta a few..The headlights come on, the radio plays, I can rev it, and I can start it all from remote.

@efishe22292 THAT'S what sets MY set up apart from the average "kit"...The rev feature is a proprietary thing you understand of course. But, even with all this[Headlights on high beam as in the movie, Radio blaring, engine starting and revving, someone ALWAYS asks if it'll drive itself, or if they kick a dent in the fender, will it repair itself..My response is always the same..."You got enough money? We'll find out!"

Christine doesn't like to be "Collected"...She prefers to be driven..She likes other cars, as long as they keep their distance. She says there's too many 427 SS that, Corvette this, and Hemi the other at car shows...She prefers to be parked where the "Uncommon" cars are parked...

@sohidragon This is all done by remote control..I can turn on the headlights, rev the enigne, start her up, and turn on the radio...She's a huge hit at the car shows. Has scared a few people at night when they lean in to see, and she fires up, but when she revs, they can't believe it either.

@doubleback55 Remote start systems on Fuel injected cars is easy...Carb's are another thing entirely...

The Kit only gave a 1sec. 10 sec. and 15 sec. set up....I hate to think what the RPM's would be if it hit 10 second blast.....Not cool...

Thank you, and That remote Start system was a home built set up that I added the Rev control to...It took a few tries, but i finally got it sorted...Remote starters on Carb'd cars can be a PITA as you have to keep heat in the engine to make sure it DOES start and STAY running..LOL...

The "Movie sound" IS described on the Website called Christine Car club . com

We have several that sound like the movie car, at different times in the movie..

One at idle, one revving, one reving high, one at WOT, etc...

We also have two of the ACTUAL movie cars as well...The "Moochie chaser" and "Camaro Killer"...Stop by and say hello...

Thanks Alot..I came up with the idea one night and decided to go for it using one of the remote start systems you can buy off Ebay. I added the rev control and the radio....

The engine in this car is a 440 dressed up to look like the 350 Big Block that was in the "Show me" scene where Christine puts herself back together..The engine in all of the engine scenes in the movie "Christine" was a 350 Golden Commando Big block V8..
