dude you need to include the kannada film industry in that list. There are legends like B.R. Pantulu, G.V.Iyer, Gubbi Veeranna, Dr. Rajkumar, Puttanna Kanagal, Balakrishna, Sunil kumar desai etc. who unfortunately get no credit in Indian cinema.
c'mon tell me one person who can over take hindi film industry... day by day malayalam industry is going down that publishers are afraid to take over movies acted by stars like mamotty mohanlal and suresh gopi.... i would say there are 20 -30 actors who can keep entertaining for years... (not vijay.. coz he does the samething again and again)... and telugu is just about pure entertainment and action... i havent seen tellu movies but i have seen its dubbed versions...

He is the greatest artiste in cinema world, India has. Still he is so humble and down to earth. The whole country waits for his movie to come like no other movie. It's the greatest recognition Aamir possess. More than any artificial awards..

he is definitely the greatest actor in hindi movies but i dont think hes the best in india.....please do not generalize...there are many actors in malayalam, tamil and telugu cinema and you have to consider them all...

You may be right to certain aspect. I have due respect for other maestros like Kamal Hassan and all..But I never said he is just the best actor. I said he is the best artiste. And that includes his direction , production and overall cineamatic vision apart from his amazing acting skill. And I don't think anyone still is so much multi talented. He is a true genius and you should accept that.

dude you need to include the kannada film industry in that list. There are legends like B.R. Pantulu, G.V.Iyer, Gubbi Veeranna, Dr. Rajkumar, Puttanna Kanagal, Balakrishna, Sunil kumar desai etc. who unfortunately get no credit in Indian cinema.

c'mon tell me one person who can over take hindi film industry... day by day malayalam industry is going down that publishers are afraid to take over movies acted by stars like mamotty mohanlal and suresh gopi.... i would say there are 20 -30 actors who can keep entertaining for years... (not vijay.. coz he does the samething again and again)... and telugu is just about pure entertainment and action... i havent seen tellu movies but i have seen its dubbed versions...

i think not in India only because I am a Filipino and I like the movies made by him.....
I often watch dramatic movies and I usually think that crying while watching the move is over reacting but the Taare Zaamen Par and Three Idiots of Aamir made me to sob...hehehe

yea i think its his first award attending coz he never attended awards ceremonies before for some reasons. Wow its so nice to see him on stage finaly. His voice so soft and humble personality for a powerful icon of India. He doesn't flock around the flavours of the season and make arrogant appearances. One is a better actor, other is a better PR guy-cum actor. Apples and oranges! More than anything they prove Indian muslims are not muslims before they are human beings. Great guys, both of them.

I agree...... he is the ONLY interesting thing about Bollywood.... He is versatile, comical, sad, stylish, ambivalent, misunderstood, sexy, and an artistic/commercial genius, -who still has the uncanny ability to surprise and reinvent himself after all these years. A visionary of Indian cinema.
May he never be named 'King of Bollywood' - he doesn't deserve that humiliation!!! Even if he never makes another film, TZP has already changed Hindi cinema forever.
