Did you train him yourself from track to off track? Was the transition natural? I have an ottb that needs some work, but was wondering your process of bringing him into work other than running

beautiful horse, I have ridden many Gone Wests in racing in the UK ,, very powerful intelligent horses, he just has that intelligent eye with a hint of cheekiness with it,, wonderful, glad you are doing so well with him he is awsome

Hes doing very well, he had last month off because he was a bad boy and sprained his fetlock haha, but hes back in work. Annie is doing well, and so is Rio. Trainings going good, slow but good. :)

wow, beautifully put together horse you've done a nice job with him. I have a gone west filly I used to compete - strong willed but an excellent jumper. She's now an intermediate eventer in the U.S. quite the nice horse.  Best of luck with him ! Hope to see you at spruce meadows one day !

He is absolutely gorgeous. He still has the amazing neck of a stallion! And good muscling/work, I'm sure. He is stunning. I just found a forever home for my 19 year old OTTB. I can't ride due to family obligations and lack of money!

He does look like a handful, but the kind I'd like to ride.

Haha thank you so much! Everyone loves his neck. I understand about family obligations and financing...its really tough and I got 3 horses...so hard but I promised these horses a forever home for me. He is a handful and a half! But hes a lover boy!

Aw thanks! Haha I will give him a peppermint most deffinatley as they are his absolute favorite...besides mommys home cooked treats hehe. He is more than a dream...and also a nightmare...to ride! He is so talented, so athletic and so smart its amazing, he can jump a 5' vertical from a standstill like a cat, but he is slightly nuts haha he loves to leap and rear, and he broke my leg in May LOL I love him....

What an absolutely gorgeous animal...I second shellpen's comment; he does looks a lot like Secretariat. You must feel blessed to own a horse of such high quality. Sad that he was infertile; he would have made some beautiful babies! Which graded stakes race(s) did he win?

I am so blessed, not only because of who he is quality wise but because he is such a most remarkable soul, his personality is one like no other, I truely, am deeply blessed to be around him. He won I believe 5 graded stakes in Canada and 3 in France, I will check the names for you on his papers when I come home from Quebec this week ! Thank you!
