  • wish the side straps were d ring not Velcro in the back.

  • @NOCTURNOzombie

What carrier are you talking about. There are D-Rings. Do you mean permanently affixed?

  • @HardpointTactical the first carrier you show in the video. The side straps attach under the rear flap with velcro. I'm sure its just fine. D rings sewn in on the sides that the straps could attach too would ne awesome though. Here in Florida mud clogs up all thr velcro stuff I have and its a pain to clean.

  • @NOCTURNOzombie

Thanks for the clarification. Still shouldn't be a problem though, since once the velcro is locked in place, there is no reason mud should get in there and create any problems. In other words, once you have the system adjusted the way you want it, you're only using the buckles to don and doff, anyway.

  • how mutch will the battle belt be in street value?

  • @mosinfan462

Street value will be comparable to retail. We are doing all we can to get that down, but there are just limits to how much can be shaved without compromising quality. Even at the current prices, we are still on par with the competition, considering what you get.

  • What is the new belt called. I couldn't catch it in the vid. Estimated availability?

  • @23ryball

New belt is call the "Triarii". It should be available by March or April, at the latest.

  • The way we employ the hook and loop works well, gents. We've been running different variations of this design for four years now with not a single problem. The difference between ours and other designs is the double captivation--very strong and doesn't wear out.

Unlike buckles, Velcro tightly locks everything in place (so that it won't shift around), is infinitely adjustable, and won't break.

If you want a PC with buckles, there are plenty of options available to you, but our approach is proven.

  • Barf... I can't stand all that hook and loop...

  • only problem is, how would that velcro hold up to weight on it and if mud, sand and dirt get stuck inside. You dont want your load out ripping off you. good idea, but i think they should add some buckles on there to keep it for tearing right off the vest. or even snaps. Because its much better to take a lot of time putting your gear on a mollie vest than losing it and having to carry it back to base...

  • I had an army buddy show that sling stile only with para cord and a d ring and u don't u know ur wepon is there anymore

  • Did they used to have a different company name? I was looking at the Legion and Cohort vests two years ago but don't remember this company. I know it's the same guys because of the sling system, do you have any info about the change that you may have picked up from your time with them?

  • That looks overly complicated, and it uses way too much Velcro.

  • @IrishDevil78 the ar15 could seem overly complicated, but we all got used to it pretty quick, didnt we. now we all LOVE it. the complicatedness is because of modularity. its very nice to have options. just my opinion.

  • so more and more companies are going to 500d as a standard, i make my own gear and i find that its alot easier to work with the 1000,

i think this is the way do go, does any one feel like 500 is too light to last?

  • Thats cool but it looks way too complicated. I'm a firm believer in K.I.S.S. The mystery Ranch and 5.11 stuff looked a lot more user friendly. Just sayin. Love the channel though! Keep it up!

  • What do you do when Velcro wears out? Buy a new carrier. Wondering how well the Velcro will do with a full combat load.

  • How is the mag pouch better than a HSGI taco?

  • @USpatriot741776

The main advantages our pouch offers over the Taco are:

--The greater ease of putting the mags in the pouch

--No need to adjust the pouch to make it work, but the ability to do so, if desired

    --The capability to run inverted

--The fact that our design doesn't rely on shock-cord (even if the elastic were to tear, the pouch would still work)

--Our pouch is easier to apply and remove

  • cool, I haven't seen this stuff before, thanks for posting

  • Put multicam gear on camera, and I'll watch it!

  • Very cool

  • I'm really liking that OSS sling set up.

  • awesome
