Good post. To all the haters out there....Clearly this video is intended to provide only BASIC guidelines for GENERAL terrarium setup! If you would like more detailed info i would suggest an extremely easy and old method....BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I personally have had several naturalistic terrarium setups for all the reptiles I have kept over the years and not surprisingly they are almost maintenance free and my animals live longer than most, just like nature intended!
Ok so im still confused....Is it really necessary to plant the plant in a hole dug out for the plant roots...I just want to plant my plant ontop of the plant soil....To much expertise and knowledge packed into this plant planting plant video for me to understand......
expertvillage does a nice job people just dont like how they keep their chameleons lol he did a great video he shows rules of thumb like tips the lady also gives good demonstrations but her chameleon is in bad mood all the time
This info isn't as good as it may look. Sure the guy gives us some tips, but planting such size nepenthes in a small terrarium is a big no-no. It'll get too big pretty soon. I wonder if they can grow them the right way, the plant looks bad. The smaller ones could grow inside a bit longer, bu the biggest one is already too big for me to put it inside
true, but it's kind of obvious how to plant plants.. i don't agree with what some of the people are saying tho true expert vilage has some bad videos but thats not the right way to express it.
lol no its not. its a 12x12x18. theres lots of geckos that can live in that. theres climbing geckos that can live in a 5 gallon. get your facts streight :P
u should be able to find a spaced themed poster on line or at a museum take some gray calcium sand idk but were i live at petco they sell meteorite hides also i recomend colbalt blue tarantulas if you havnt already bought yours hoped i helped
I know!!I hate expertvillage. They suck.Atleast this video is a couple minutes, all the ones I normaly see are a minute or so.Plus they dont give u any good info, just basic crap.
and by the way its very dificult to use live plants try to find some relistic fake ones because live plants re4quire more space and need to be watered often
terrarium for dumies expert vilage ... come on!!! tell me somthing that i need to know get the expert saying tell me every thing a to z i will buy a dvd that sais how to build ure own incubatoire for th egg how to keep the moisture on a perfect piont the heat there is season to take care of too if u want im tho feel comfort whit time for the egg and ater mental stuff that turne around season small terrariun sucs pleas tell me about it!
it is easy get a Terrarium at petsmart and some cactus soil.plant youre venus fly traps. it is cool because they grow KIND OF LIKE grass, expert village has a video called leaf cutting propagation and it will show you.
Humidity is not important to the venus fly trap. It will adapt easily to your climate as long as you give it lots of direct sunlight and keep them soaked.
dude that not even cool terraium
