nice man, plz answer my question. i installed a killswitch a few days ago and it makes a static sound when ever i press it... is there something i have to do to fix that? or is it the kind of switch that matters?

well, what i did was, i used a soft touch momentary switch(normaly open) from radio shack. i soltered it between the exposed hot and ground wires from the output jack on my guitar. when i press the button the circut is connected and it kills the sound. make sure you have a good solder connection.mine makes a bit of a popping noise that is way more noticable without distortion. it really only sounds good with distortion.
