I'm selling mine right now cause its outdated and Digital SLR's are shooting better video quallity then this camera ever did for me. Don't get me wrong its a great camera but its becoming out dated. It was hard to find Canon HDV tapes for a good price and also still has some problems with resolution in Final Cut Pro. issue is its 1080i you will see lots of interlacing with this camera. Start looking for P2 cameras if you want your moneys worth.

@JifferRiffic Hey, I returned the videocamera, after it was send back for repairs, My computer didn;t recognize the camera, nothing i tried worked. The store was so nice to refund my money. I know ordered a Sony HDR AX2000e. which films on memory card.

@VloggingBastendo Smart man. I still have another Canon Xha1s but i never use it. I feel like its very grainy no matter what I do to the settings. I got a new Canon EOS 7D now. Best SLR I've had that can shoot better quality video then prosumer camcorders.

@JifferRiffic Yes I had that to when i filmed some footage and checked it out afterwards, very grainy even when it wasn't that dark in the room. Yes the canon 7d is very nice, really give it that film look, but for some reason i wanted a video camera, but the sony also records on a memory card got 3 cmos chips in it, ideal for night shoots. And the quality is very nice. Do you got some canon 7d footage on your youtube page?

@Darksiegify yes, it took some time to save te money. and after i had some troubles i trade it in for a Sony HDR-AX2000e (also got an unboxing video of that)

@JamieBils I don't know. I've connect the camera to the pc with my firewire and nothing happens the pc doesn't recognize it. I also tried it on another pc and with a different pc but no luck.
