8 HOURS AND 50 MINUTES!? :O 8:50 with nothing between me and the ground but the power of prayer! God almighty! I was hoping to go to America one day but that's just put me off the idea. (BTW: I love Aeroplanes, I find them supremely fascinating but I am terrified of flying. I only watch these sorts of videos to try to start facing my fear, they are helpful but I'll take the shorter flights first and work my way up) ;) - Strange as it sounds, videos like this DO help

I agree with you, but think about the thousands of planes over the Atlantic everyday without incident. Really, you have more of a chance of dying walking to your mailbox than plummeting into the ocean.

We are alike. I love airplanes but I am terrify of flying. But you know what, now I travel very often. Strange, ah! lol! Just make that one step forward and get inside that plane. Only practice helps to calm the nerves. Now Im more calm than before.

I think I'm beginning to look forward to it. Getting more and more scared though if I'm honest. lol. I've woken in cold sweat a few times and they are getting more frequent. Still, the best way to deal with fear is to stick the middle finger up at it and say "Bring it!" ;) That's what I intend to do. Stay safe

Looks like I'm going to have a chance to quell my nerves this year friend. Menorca in August, I know it's a short flight but still, I'm getting on an aeroplane. lol (I must admit to getting nightmares already)

Well done! Enjoy the flight. If you want, there are several videos on youtube for people who are scare of flying. They help you understand about what flying really is. Another thing, get statistics about the flight you are going to take, the type of aircraft you`ll be in and the airline. That helps to calm the nerves as well. Safe flight!

Thank you. I will do that. I heard that the flight time is 4 hours, but when I flew to Tunisia in 98 it was only 2 and a half hours... I'll be searching all over youtube for videos in preparation. :D

fly north west airlines coz with the video entertainment u have little screens on the bak of ur seats and u can choose wat u want to watch instead of the airline choosing 4 u

when i went to switzerland they lost by dad £2500 and he got it 2 days later finding it had been flown to detroit instead of switzerland

if ur wondering y he had a £2500 bike with him, he was doing a ironman and if u dnt no wat a ironman is look it up

Thats understandable, I actually LOVE flying sooooo much....I understand why some people hate it tho....the customs and security and queues are the worst....as for the flying part, I love it....turbulence isnt very nice tho....unless you're drunk, in which case its a laugh!!!!
