You are speaking to fast and your speech pattern is unattractive. it's ok, you just lack life experience of how to give a presentation. Just keep practicing, you'll get it.
Ignore the haters! True, it could be louder, but your info's pretty good and helpful. This guy did more than any of the jackasses commenting about it!
jerryrdzg, thats not very nice, and to those who commented on the information, im sorry if it was wrong, but my source was the textbook. If at all possible, comment specifically on the animation, and ignore the information. Thank you.
1st - Physical (skin, mucous membranes) and chemical barries which prevent pathogen entry
2nd - Non specific defensive cells (phagocytes, eosinophils, and natural killer cells) and proteins (interferons and complement system, inflammation and fever)
3rd - Immune system that has specific targets and memory
Even if you remove a few deciliters of blood there will be billions of antibodies left in you. New antibodies are also produced as long as there are B-memory cells proliferated for the specific antibody. To remove all B-memory cells you have to give away all your blood, and that will also cause instant death.
So you don't have to worry. Cells in the immun system are produced as long as you live. Your immunity will not disapperar because you donate blood.
Sorry i need to correct myselg, B cells have IgM on their surface so ok maybe they do in that sense, but your talking about Opsonisation mainly by IgG, which are secreted by Plasma cells
Antibodies DO NOT destroy anything, and stop saying Antigens, A) what YOU mean are immunogens, B) The innate immune response is NON specific, so NO it does not destroy antigens. B cells DO NOT create antibodies, plasma cells do. CD8 CTL do not work independently. Man where did you leanr all this?
Not impressed man, im sorry but if you go to the trouble and creating an animation that isnt half bad dont ruin it by shoddy information
u need to explain the effector phase in more detail e.g. neutralization, opsinization via classical complement pathway, co-aggregation. this is what it all comes down to. otherwise good video

animation lacks attention to details. Very basic, needs work.

1st - Physical (skin, mucous membranes) and chemical barries which prevent pathogen entry
2nd - Non specific defensive cells (phagocytes, eosinophils, and natural killer cells) and proteins (interferons and complement system, inflammation and fever)
3rd - Immune system that has specific targets and memory
