@axeloflight Actually the creator said this is a different universe from the main DC comics universe and the DCAU, because this series has it's own comics called Teen Titans GO! which is a continuation of where the TV series left off. Though honestly you could argue that DC is so convoluted with their universes that it really doesnt matter.

@BrizzleJBWKZ this cartoon starts when Starfire arrives to earth, in some part of the episode Robin states to a thief that he now works alone, then, in the end of the episode he somewhat became the leader of the Teen Titans and they agreed to be a team

in the comic, Robins first join the Titans, but still is the sidekick of Batman, when he knows that his ideology and methods cant be like Batman´s anymore (he is to influenced by the Teen Titans) he leaves him and becomes Nigthwing

Okay, Dick had long hair when he became Nightwing. It was cut later on when he got his own comic series in the first issue by a baddie... in '96, I think. But this takes place before then. Hence long hair. Yay continuity? :P

So technically, neither you nor CaptainPimpSlap is "wrong," but you're talking about different universes. It sometimes seems to me like DC has often been "messier" than Marvel when it comes to clearly marking and separating its alternate universes.

@Alias1495 DC has better emotional contend. DC brings out the individual story for every hero and villian nicely. They even introduce darker and sadder stories which impact the character quite effectively which always leave room to fill in the blanks from other fans.

@goldenjavier Well, this is going to be a bit of a comic spoiler, but there is a little scene where Robin and Starfire are having a moment, and then you see Batman a few buildings away looking at them through his binoculars and pretty much reflecting about how Robin's grown up and has found someone who can look after him. Like I said, touching little cameo.

@goldenjavier Well, yes but there is a scene in Haunted where Raven goes into Robin's thoughts and memories. You see his parents falling, and before that you see what looks like the shadow of a little boy and an older man. This is foreshadowing Batman when he inducted Dick as Robin.

Yeah, I have nothing against her and I've only read bits of things on the internet from the comics...Mostly GarfieldxRaven junk. But I'm more so Babs over Starfire just because I'm sort of in denial that no one from the "Bat" people showed up on the show aside from Robin and the occasional subtle hint to Bruce.... :'( I love Dick's angsty days with Bruce and Babs (and Alfred.)
