Biblical prophecies not only ARE coming to pass, they HAVE BEEN coming to pass. i.e. The creation of the nation of Israel (was highly improbable), the formation of the EU (essentially the United States of Europe). The apostle Paul defines the "day of the Lord" as coming when christ descends and gathers his followers (1 Thess. 5:1-2)

He goes on to say in 2 Thess 2:1-4 that the "day of the Lord" won't come until the antichrist is revealed.

so the way I see it Christ won't gather his followers until antichrist revealed.

Extremely interesting, I'll have to do more research. Some questions would be... Where is the temple? This puts us about 2 years into the tribulation, why have there been no other signs of this?
