When I do this exam, I use a sharper instrument like the end of a paperclip, that may be more easily distinguishable from the cotton swab. I'm also wondering why a cranial nerve exam was not included?
The patient had difficulty telling the difference between sharp and dull sensations it seems. What would be the next step in testing this sensation issue?

there is no such thing as a negative babinski! you either have a babinski sign, or you don't. it is strictly a pathological sign.

@thenoodle48 I would say if they don't have a Babinski sign, then the test is negative for it. LOL!

@chilltownian in another video i've seen they said if they failing that test, then they would do a hot and cold temperature test on the skin.
