Wonderful pictures. It really brings across this awsome landscape. Pity it strains the "creation"-topic though. Why not just take something for what it is: An awsome place to be, a place to shiver in the face of a hugely powerful nature creating and destructing itself and therefor changing all the time.

If god did create the world then we no longer live in the same world he created...land moves, oceans are created and destroyed in 50 million years earth will be an entirely different looking place. When you study the earth you realise that these are not acts of God, they are natural processes that have always taken place

Earth is full of compressed lava, which when finding cracks through the earths surface plates, expand and cool, creating new land.

Birds are one of the largest reasons for plant matter on islands.. they land, poop, and deposit seeds etc. You will also find that ALOT of islands were actually once connected by land or tidal regions.

@tekinak007 While I sort of agree with what you are saying (though not the rude, hostile way in which you say it) I should point out that at no point does that narrator say anything about DIVINE creation. Volcanic eruptions are, after all, a perfectly natural form of creation.

In fact, it sounds to me as if the term "creation" is used in this video in a deliberately vague way, so as not to offend people of differing beliefs. A tactic of diplomacy you could stand to learn yourself.

@codownni What do you mean start? It hasn't stopped in 15 years. There were several large explosions back in January and February. In any given week the activity is usually low but these things happen at any time. No need to worry, though. The north part of the island is safe. Probably.
