  • is it possible to make an instrumental of a song with samplitude? plz reply

  • @bernardpk Sorry I don't understand what you mean can you re phrase the question . Thanks Kraznet

  • Hi,

I did everything you show in this video. Everything works just fine except for one thing

Once burned, the CD cannot be played by nothing but computers...

    Car CD players : nope

    HI-FI players : nope

    Portable players : nope

    All computers : YES !!!

The rendered files are cda... can be played properly in Itunes or WMP but the name of the ALbum and the titles of the song are unknown

    Any clue ?

  • I don't know about the compatibility issue you're experiencing, but iTunes (and WMP) will not recognise the artist and album/song titles automatically. iTunes for example does not read CD text, it only recognises track length. You have to enter the details again in iTunes yourself, then "Submit CD Track Names" under the "Advanced" menu to send the info to Gracenote. Gracenote is the CD information data store company for iTunes, not sure about WMP but it works on a similar method.

  • Can you use Mbox with Samplitude ?

  • Providing you use Digi Asio driver it should work.

  • excellent!

  • first of all, thanks for this tutorial! although I'm using an older version of samplitude, your vid was very helpful to me.

Then I have a question... I saw a lot of tutorials of famous DJs or other artists who all use audio software such as pro tools, cubase or logic... can anyone tell me why Samplitude isn't used that often in profesionell studios? are there any disadvantages? 'cause I think it's really user-friendly and you can work really quickly with it.

  • I think quite a few pro studios use it in Europe but it is less of a buzz word like Pro Tools and Cubase . Also maybe the marketing isn't as good . It started out as a purely audio recording app in the early 90's and the midi was added later . In this way it is like the opposite of Cubase which was purely midi at first. I think nowadays it's hard to choose between all these DAW's . It's really a matter of what suits your workflow .

  • you sound like jigsaw

  • Who's jigsaw?

  • sigh. you just had to clip these songs didn't you?

  • As I mentioned in the video -10dbfs is a fairly conservative level compared to many CD's nowadays .

  • i missed that. It looked like it was clipping. I hope you are never put in a position where you have to clip something...
