yea it is mike. he left suzuki and is racing with KTM on there new 350. thats why he didnt race supercross this year cuz he was practicing on the new bike nd getting ready for nationals

That is definetly mike and it is a KTM 350 im pretty sure. the way to tell is it has a linked rear suspension set up like the jap bikes. Tye Simmons Australias MX Prodogy has 2 and they are sick. they have only been released to selected factory KTM riders and are due for release in 2011 and are supposed to revolutionize the 450 class in the same way the SX150 has done in the 1252st/2504st class in Australia. All the fastest juniors are riding them over hear.

It definitely doesn't sound like a 450. I think it is a pre-production 350 with older plastic to keep it allegedly hush hush. Wouldn't be the first time or the hundreth, that a factory tests prototypes that way.

@kiznert  im with you on that one. the bike itself looks old lol so it probably was the 350, ive heard that he wont be running it tho this season, and that KTM is goin to run it in Europe this year and bring it to the US next year, which i think is GAY! i want to see it in action lol

for sure thats a 350. its def not a 450. but it has more than a 250f it seems. Its a win some lose some situation. Less power, less weight, more traction. idk. we'll have 2 wait until glen helen cuz mikey is afraid to ride supercross

the 350 might work or it might not. Honestly, i think that the lack of power and torque will be a problem with the bike. But the bike is also a good deal lighter and probably has a differant chasis and suspension. well see come glen helen 2010

moto gp it went from 1000cc to 800cc and the bikes are faster

That's a 250. The 350 has a new frame (not just painted orange, it's a thicker design) and linkage. And the 450s are alot throatier sounding than that, just watch the Kevin Windham video. My guess is that Alessi was just getting used to orange again since they handle so much differently than the Suzukis.

Why would KTM ask Alessi to ride a 350 to combat the 450s and what is the sense in even producing a 450 when a 450 is legal in the "250" class? I'm a bit lost here.

hes racing the the 350 in outdoors in 2010 becuase its against ama rules for him to race the 350 if there isnt a certain amount of bikes in dealerships... so hell be on a 450 for sx and 350 for mx

He's on a 2010 ktm 250 frame without linkage but i beleive he's testing the new 350 motor but the new 350 will have linkage and Electric start and ne frame design and all the goods should be a badazz bike huh?
