  • This was really awesome. Went past it like three times.

  • Telecom also did the Ferry building for the new logo launch last year. Then there were heaps of people and they had closed the street and build a seating area. I love Telecom for doing these kinds of things.

Nice video, good choice of music as well. Well Done!

  • i loved this, it was so cool :D The licorice allsorts palace was my fav :D

  • That's really amazing! Probably the nicest "building projection" I've seen... people must have been MYSTIFIED as they passed by

  • It was certainly quite a draw! :-)

  • @VJFranzK i was, i kept eyeing it up everytime i went past on the bus :D especially the licorice allsorts palace looking thing :D

  • Love it. Building projections are really inspiring to me.

  • This is amazing, beautifully shot and love the music in this video.

  • Thanks Rutle!

    You're too kind!! :-)

  • does anyone know the name of the song? or group?

  • Yep - details in the vid's closing credits.

  • just found this - did you film this Faber?

  • I did indeed. :-)

    Hope you enjoyed!

Don't miss out on seeing similar yourself at the Auckland Ferry Building every night this weekend if you can get - though I shall try and get down and film the display myself later, so if you're subscribed to my channel, you may expect to see it soon on here anyway. :-)

  • For all those who missed it, get y'selves down to the Ferry Building in Auckland one evening 16-20th October 2009. :-)

  • Cant wait..

  • Auckland rules!!!!! Even though i dont really know if where i live i in Auckland? :( Lmao i think it is>.. lol

  • Yep, Whangaparaoa counts! :-)

  • Zomg How did you know? lol

  • Hee hee hee

    Twas on your profile! :-)

  • Amazing, this definitely adds some fun to that part of town, the council should seriously consider making this an annual display

such a shame not many people got to see it

  • :-)

    I agree!

  • auckland. the most boring city whole world ever!!!!!

  • Was actually recently reported to be the fourth best city in the world to live in (Mercer)!

Maybe you should come and try spending a little time exploring some here?!

Check my channel to see more (like me doing the highest BASE jump in the southern hemisphere!)...

  • sorry, i didn't say auckland its the worse city, i said its the most boring.

4am in the morning i have to go to bed, because all bars are closing. i'm living in auckland for 1 year and half.

  • Depends what you do mate!

Plenty o festivals throughout the year; volcanoes to climb; world's first walk through aquarium (Kelly Tarlton's); not to mention mucho maritime pleasures; did you see Boobs on Bikes or the Erotica expo? How about Big Boys Toys?!

I suggest you make a few more Maori/Pacific Islander friends - whilst the bars dry up in the early hours (though Sky City is 24/7), you'll find a guitar, good humour and vibes at any and all times in those communities... :-)

  • Thank you for posting this awsome work. Loved it so much I got goose bumps.

  • Thank you for your kind comments! Much appreciated and I'm very pleased you enjoyed.

Do check out my channel and subscribe for more! :-)

  • is this still up? i wanna go down and have a look!

    no one told me!!

    ahhhhhh!

  • Sorry!

It was just on for a week. :(

  • They'll probably be doing something better with the lighting when RWC arrives...

  • Well if public feedback on this display is anything to go by, something similar/better when the Rugby World Cup comes would look likely to prove a hit!

  • I wish it was permanent -it would of made a great tourist attraction.

  • Great comment mate.

    Couldn't agree more!

It was surely quite a sight to see.

I could see some potential practical issues, but in light (pun intended! :-P ) of the success of the display, a couple of hours a night and/or an annual display would certainly be a draw card for Auckland and worth a serious thought by the city council.

  • That is so cool. Shame I missed it, glad I could see it this way.

  • an amazing building

  • Motorcycle riders don't like illegal u-turns and lack of turn signal use. Then again, I don't like it when in my truck either.

  • well if i must say that was AMAZING haha the details were just fantastic haha honstly i liked it it was great ... you cuaght my attention right at the beginning

  • Wuckin ficked.
