I lost my Father in a car accident, and I took care of my Mother for nine years of increasingly ill health and disability. I lost a boyfriend, a job, much of my own health, and most of my will to live, but I prayed for strength. And I kept Mom in her own home until she passed to Glory in 2007. I realized then that I was truly alone for the first time in my life. I was scared, but I prayed for strength. When I'd just about given up (literally), the Lord blessed me with the Love of a soul mate.

Feb 06 - Husband is in a car wreck.

Mar 06 - Daughter enters hospital first time for pneumonia and husband's aunt dies while daughter is in hospital.

May 06 - my brother takes his life two weeks after his wedding leaving a wife and beautiful 2 year old daughter.

Oct 06 - My grandmother passes away.

Nov 06 - I am in a bad wreck, thankful for no injuries.

Dec 06 - Daughter enters hospital for second time with pneumonia and husband's grandmother passes away.

Storms of life are required that we increase in faith in Jesus* as well as change in some way. Change of course of direction or way of thinking or action or beliefs.. some change is required. Creatures of habit; we are not easily willing to be moved out of our comfort zones.

The greatest changes of our lives have probably come through storms. Through those paths & roads we did want to venture onto.

Things are better now and I'm still praising God! When another storm arises He will see me thru! Yes we stand together in victory!!!

This year has been hard for many people. The world seems to be turned upside down...but I look at Job...he never turned His back on God. The Lord takes the worst of circumstances and turns it into something good. He'll see you through just as He did me! Keep pressing on!

I love this song! My father (My rock, my hero, my best friend) passed away July 11,08 way too soon, he was only barely 70. His death was not anticipated. He was a wonderful christian man. A servant in every sense of the word, he was a pastor, missionary and mentor. I am happy for him, but my heart aches so much for my loss. I am experiencing a storm that I knew would come some day, but that day has arrived. I love the Lord and rest in the knowledge of being reunited with my DAD!!

I do know how you were feeling. God has been so good to me. I was so desperate, didn't know what I was going to do next. I started thanking Him and asked God to lead me where I should go because I was so lost. And He blessed me and turned my life around!
