Any turbocharged motor sounds dull at low revs, these cars sounded fantastic at full tilt back in their day, just source any 1981-1988 F1 vids and LISTEN!
Ghostdino, you are a moron, cant you see the 3 sparkies per bank, duh! If you don't know anything about F1 or engines for that matter then shut up rather! 156/85 equals1.5 litre 6 cylinder / 1985. Twin turbocharged as well!
The car is definitely the 156/85 of 1985 and the main difference from the F186 of 1986 is the design of the roll bar (On the F186 it was covered with bodywork). The engine is a V6 biturbo 1.5 litre...
don't think so. @ 1:17 you are staring straight at a big mofo of one of two turbochargers in the side pods each side and the lovely red rocker cover of a little V6. nice vid.
The turbo engine had relatively bad performance in the low revs. This car will sound better at full revs during tracktime.
It sounds so light now because its only a 1.5 litre engine i think. This sound is like a wolf in sheeps clothing, it will go fast even tho it doesnt sound like it.
It's not a boxer. It's a 120 degree V6, which is the V6's natural angle. Those old turbo F1 cars were all making over 1,000hp in qualifying trim from just 1.5 liters.
i wanna drive!!! gimme gimme gimme!!

could you imagine this engine in a light street car.. like a datsun 510 or what ever floats your boat... that would be insane power.

It was a twin turbo turbo V6. None of them sounded that good at that time.

It could well sound like your lawnmower, but is a Ferrari (and is the roundest sound I've heard in all videos) :-D
