She is definately singing live, I have this cd, and her 'ad-libs' on the cd are totally different from the live performance. She's REALLY talented, and it sucks that people dont see that anymore.. I hope she comes back on the scene!

it is a trick that alot of performers beyonce, janet, and even brandy use... the head mic is on but she chimes in every once and a while with live vocals but it is still pre recorded to sound live. But you can really tell towards the end that she is singing with the pre recorded track.

Thats live b.c everytime she sings live she sound like that 2 me her voice done change again b.c n da 90s her voice was soft den n da full moon days it was deep and sexy but now with her new cd cooming out its like a mix of da voice i think her voice changes b.c of age and weight i say weight b.c n full moon she was bigger so her voice was deeper now shes skinner and her voice is lighter but dats no recording dats live

But dis is da same tracK she used singing "live" on the today show and i went to that...she is singin along to a pre-recorded version of the sonG, but at certain parts she'll jump in and out hence from Like 2:35..on. She sounds doubled in vocals cuz she is singin at that time..but not during the fuLL performance...and i LOOOVVVEEE bRandy...but heY even the Greatest r Lippin Now...

she sung it live..and then lipsynced to it ....very creative actually, but not authentic by any means......the only person who can sing effortlessly live and still do all that crazy dancing is Beyonce, check last years BET Awards where she performed Get Me Bodied....that was a very entertaining.....Brandy is still great though

It wasn't live, sang to a pre-recorded track, same as Brandy is doing.. gives a 'live feel'. Very common in the industry, most do; Sing a song live, while recording it, including adlibs ('Come on y'all'.. 'that's right', do it'! 'stand up now'.ect), b4 a a big venue, then lip it when they perform it. It's not taking nothing away, 'cause it's still they're voice, but for a reason another they air on the side of caution, and 'not risk it'....Check mulitiple performances of GMB, same track used.
