@bigbearfla My dad has COPD and has smoked all his life, and having COPD doesn't stop him either, he also has an odd addiction to Askit powders, he takes god knows how many in the course of a day. But the COPD thing seems to be making him really breathless and his limbs have went really thin, he was always thin but his arms and legs were never that thin, you would think if you got something like COPD you would stop smoking which just goes to show how addictive smoking is.

I wanted to dedicate this to my cousin Elaine L Vlamynck died of COPD 8/21/1963 -- 12/18//2010 age 47 gone too soon. if I could sue the tobacco companies out of business I would do it. She is the 3rd relative our family has lost to smoking. If you are reading this and your'e a smoker please stop before you die of severe COPD.

@bigbearfla sorry about your cousin, it looks like my dads going the same way, I heard people can be house bound and end up with oxygen tanks, my dad isn't that bad yet but he is whacked before he even starts, I think that's probably because COPD weakens the muscles people use to breathe, so it takes a lot more effort for them to simply breathe.

@Tashno2003 The boy is there because his name was Ryan White. He was a young lad who got the AIDS virus from a blood transfusion he needed for his Hemofelia ( Sorry for the spelling ). This is something only boys get that is past from their mothers. He was banned from school and it was his fight til get back to school that made him famious. Both Elton John and M.J went til his funeral after meeting and getting to knoe Ryan. Micheal wrote this song in his memmory.

@PPF75 Elton John and Michael was a great friend to Ryan White because he was a human being, after Ryan's passing Elton got clean he told that to Oprah correction I would Michael to get the credit for writing Gone too Soon, but it was written by Buz Kohan and Larry Grossman, and co-produced by Bruce Swedien but Michael made it what it is a great song. Never would figure it would apply to Michael too, not in my life time.
