Children who are here looking for screamo crap, this one song by the Walkmen (which is just one of about 70 great songs by them) is about 3,555,555,555 times more hardcore than everything ever done by whatever crap you are referring to. This song says it all while featuring great musicianship. You will understand this after about age 35, after you've been through some life.

@SkirtSoPlain It all depends on where you're standing. I love music like this. But I also enjoy some screamo. If you can get by the actual screaming and listen to it like another background instrument, it becomes part of a (sometimes) intricate melody. And the music itself is arguably much more musically advanced. You just got to go into it with a more open mind. Granted, some of it really is crap. But there are some jewels in there.
