Yeah, I used to be into Foo Fighters and Weezer and all that Alt rock stuff and then i realized that there are more interesting and complex musical genres out there. Try listening to Math Rock, Progressive Rock/Metal, or Fingerstyle acoustic. They incorporate jazz licks within rock. I'm just saying, as a musician myself, I'm sick of all the "Top 40" type bands.
