  • six minutes of SEX

  • this is kinda a stupid question but does this have bass in it???... cause i cant really hear it and yet it sounds so full

  • complex and smooth

  • you dont need a joint to enjoy this music.

  • @rojenghale but it woudn't hurt.

  • @steveeweavie i was about to say that exact same thing :D

  • Wow, I just put this on and realized this was 43 years to the day!

  • where can i find the guitar tabs?

  • @kneegrowpls If you have the spirit that Jimi had, you will be able to play this pretty well on your own. I've played for 40 years and never had any formal training of any kind. I'm only trying to help another in musical brotherhood. Keep playing! You'll get there.

  • Theme for the 101st Airborne! Somebody get some 2/502 STRIKE footage from the 'nam to mix with this mesmerizer!

  • it has something from vodoo chille

  • yeah more next of Hear my train a comin

  • Is not Voodoo Child, not even close. I agree if anything it's close to Hear my Train a Commin

But I think it's just soemthing from his head.

  • greatest guitarist to ever life RIP jimi

  • its just really weird how when jimi starts playing you know its him you can almost tell from the start if its really jimi or not....idk who else you can say that about maybe eddie van halen thats about it besides that jimi is tha shit you can recognize his playing outta everyones thats what makes him the best

  • why the hell are people talking bout Kurt Cobain.....this is Jimi...NUFF SAID !!!

  • i swear i looked away... and out of the corner of my eye... i saw jimi in this picture raise his eyebrows at me....

  • whatever you smoked i had to be good :)

  • @mrcdaniels thats what shrooms will do for ya man

  • Most of the influential musicians that died all happened to die of these awful "accidents" in which evidence was taken, hidden, or even manipulated. Many stories contradicted witnesses, ect... Spend enough time looking at all the facts and you have to wonder, why did all these musicians have managers with ties to the CIA and intelligence agencies?

Also, sound is sound, I hate notes and tuning. Play by the ear and leave the brain's analytical left side out of it!

  • @thejakeyl88 That's nonsense.

  • i wouldnt call it nonsense till you do your research. there's a suprising amount of fact behind the rumors.

  • Drug addicts are unpredictable, especially musicians who tend to be arrogant because of the doors that are opened to them. Any evidence that may have been taken in any of these situations is to keep complicit folks from going to jail. For example, Say a buddy of mine shoots heroin and he does it in my place. If he dies of an overdose, do you think the cops will find him in my place!....

  • I agree with you to some extent but even jimi thinks about I IV V, you need atleast the very basics, but it's how you play and bend the 'rules' that make you a musician.

  • omg was that great yea man

  • Man, this is genius

  • This is the type of style I usually play when im just chillin and smoking a joint. Its an addicting sound.

  • same here man...this is what happens when you take blues and rock and cut all the strings attached to it...we just play the roots of music man because thats what makes us feel good when were high..theres a whole philosophy of music everyone overlooks

  • Yup thats very true

  • @RastafariPoet I have yet to watch a hendrix film on this boob tube with out reading some non-sense drug comment. There's way to strong an association between drugs and Hendrix...Drugs can't make music...Hendrix was the talent in this, everything that you hear and like...was hendrix ( and the other players of course).

I guess drugs are just that cool...right...Lets all talk about drugs like they make music.

  • @JimmyPage97

Noone asked for your opinion. If you don't like drugs, why should I need to know. I use marijuana for my own purposes, leave it at that. & I don't need a lesson of "Hendrix wasnt better with drugs blah blah" I would think I know that, I'm not a junkie.

  • @RastafariPoet Not a lesson...not a moral..Honestly its not that I don't not like drugs. I love Hendrix. And you people rag and bring the man down with your bullshit. It angers me thinking Hendrix tried to bring music to the world...and all you see are drugs.

    Hendrix was a musician...

As far as " my opinion" thats the purpose of the comments block...plus you sure gave a free opinion yourself now didn't you..

  • @JimmyPage97

What are you talking about?.. I never said I put drugs in with my liking of Jimi Hendrix, or he was better with drugs, or on drugs. I just said I like to toke up a bit and play this time of music on my own guitar. Too many people get their heads up everything. Let it go..

  • @RastafariPoet Like I said in the first comment that you responded about. I've yet to watch a video of hendrix with out some dumb pointless drug comment. I.e your comment.

I guess I just picked yours out of the many. This isn't something that I have my "head up" to. Your original comment was just pointless and does nothing more then build on the drug/Hendrix association that I was upset about.

  • @JimmyPage97 You may need a hug.

  • @RastafariPoet No Thanks. My bad I didn't know I was talking to a little kid.

  • @RastafariPoet

Krishnamurti is comparing Peace and intelligence. He never once, in the quote, mentions anything about maturity. This quote does not allow you to connect intelligence/peace to maturity...But lets just assume that you, and Kris, were right; that Intelligence and Peace can only be achieved through maturity. And I'll also assume that you have achieved this "great deal" of intelligence-> you can't respond to me with out being immature.. "obvious ONLY a kid would keep fighting."

  • @JimmyPage97

    100% Correct!

  • @RastafariPoet I'm glad I was able to get your certification

  • @JimmyPage97

No problem man, have a good one! ~onelove

  • @JimmyPage97 dude chill out he was just saying he enjoys a joint to this kinda music... big deal

  • @Christophanus yea I know bro-ski I must have forgotten my chill pills or something that day.

  • @RastafariPoet yea me too. it's spiritual/tribal.

  • Trying to be @ 4:09

  • Stephen Still's name is spelled wrong.

  • very good track

  • smooth motherfucker, he was too big for this world.

  • amen to that. People like him, John Lennon, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Bob Marley, etc. Not that I am happy they died, by ANY means, but I feel they left when they needed to. They left their legend right where it was supposed to be. May these legends rest in peace.

  • Kurt Cobain sucks and he never tuned his guitar.

  • @natennsk8 U might want to get your head on straight because Kurt was a GREAT singer/song writer TRUE his lead guitar skills were simple but for him they were effective!!!

  • have you even read his lyrics for smells like team spirit all he did is combine a bunch of words that rhyme into a one song now i like nirvanna but the music is what i like not the lyrics

  • @bubbah12345 LOL!!! Have U checked out the lyrics to heart-shaped box or Polly? Those are pretty heavy lyric I would say....PEACE!!!

  • This shit is dope.

  • Jimi Hendrix was awesome! 5* A.D. :)) thanks for sharing 1890cabin

  • 1890cabin shared with me , sure like hendrix, i was wandering , i've been looking for his song that played in the movie, under siege , with tommy lee jones, gary buseck and the cook , the fighter whats his name, slips me now, if you know that song let me know, thanks=GILLY

  • the song is voodoo child (slight return)

  • Not Voodoo Chile at a all-- if anything- its closer to Hear My Train a Comin

  • no he asked what the song in the movie under siege was and i told him it was voodoo child (slight return)and not voodoo chile thats a 15 minute jam on electric ladyland

  • @LEMONandtheWELDER .. i dont think it was either honestly.. it was a mixture of the 2.. but it was just a JAM none the less.. so each song had its own part.. but it was where he felt it was right... yah mean? haha

  • @METHOTIS same kinda groove but i hear a little of both train then voodoo just a jam in E i think with friendly idea's

  • @vauxhall908

Totally. I think Hendrix's style or technique wasn't really that amazing or anything. Its the raw sound that he plays. Simple and slow blues - but it sounds to real.

  • @JimmyPage97 your saying this because you barely listen to his other music

  • its just a blues.....

but the baddest blues at that., hell yeah.

and by baddest i mean hell yeah

    herb.

  • he was my god!!!!

  • I still miss him!

  • i wonder if not the genius is playing one of ss guitars...upside down here..!?

  • in ss basement:-O
