They are a talented band, and pretty damn awesome, but what lets them down is that all of their music and videos are sped up using computer. When they play live, they are much slower with the music, and they only do a bit of the solo and not the whole thing. So in all respect, great band, with a few let downs.

the only thing dragonforce is guilty of is adding too many layers and harmonies that can't be replicated live without backing tracks. it sounds like they also use MIDI controlled whammy pedals like crazy in the studio. There are several songs I've written and recorded that I had no trouble recording but have to be modified for live performances.
