@tricccple my External HDD connected to my wii is going to sleep mode when im inactive for awhile i played zelda skyward sword yesterday and i ate dinner and then when i wanted to play again the drive got to sleep mode which freeze my wii because it didnt load the data anymore. is there a way to turn off sleep mode or change time from 10 min to like 1 hour please reply

@totizedger sleep mode is software based, are u sure it went sleep mode instead of other problems it may have? I don't have a solution for you cause these homebrew software shouldn't have a sleep mode (im not aware of it)

copy the contents of your external hard drive to your pc. that's what I do. and after it's done. I copy it back.

the usb loader you use sucks extremely bad you can use usb loader gx or wii flow way better

1. Does this lag sometimes??? (i know that some of the iso's are bigger than what the wii memory has to offer)

2. Do i have to have the drive with a certain type of file system, or will this work with NTFS?

2. u dont' have to go out of the way to preset ur file system, but the file system is called WBFS, but these programs or wbfs manager will format it to that for u

Sometimes the games don't work, or am i doing something wrong? If i tried 10 games, and they all didn't work then def i am doing something wrong. But I only tried 1 or 2. neogamma will do , or usb loader gx, but make sure ur hdd is formatted to this wii file system. and if ur download means downlaoding through internet, u need wbfs manager for pc, and transfer that way. copy and paste won't work

first u find out if ur hdd is ide or sata, and then go to a computer shop and buy a external box for that standard, and then get ur wii softmodded, and then follow this toturial

Hard drive is better because it has less chances of skipping or stuttering on a game as the dvd ages... I also use USB Loader gx works great
