thats not Kanji.. but i know a little kanji :3 hehe but i think thats Gatakana or Katakana (think its Katakana) x3 Kanji is like.. Ohayou, Demo, sayonara etc. not the writing :o

Its mixed or has all three in it. (I'm taking japanese right now) It has all 3 of them in it. Katakana is just a easier? form of hiragana. Kanji is basically chinese words but pronounced differently..

The main difference between katakana and hiragana:

Katakana are used to write foreign words.

Hiragana are used to write words that have no kanji but are Japanese, and to sound out kanji using furigana.

Also, the root of Japanese kanji are indeed Chinese characters. Still, I'd love to put your extremely basic assertion to the test and let you try to read something in Chinese only knowing kanji.
