  • I got something similar in this band, 6m, hearing brazilian stations from El Salvador. more than 6000 Km, two years ago.

  • What is a HAM used for besides emergencies? I mean, is it a special radio for communicating? It seems so confusing when people try to explain it to me... Please help me understand it... Someone?

  • @Aonexia Communicating for fun, or collecting countries. Making radio equipment, experimenting with RF. I'm a new radio amateur, I have a HF-rig, with matching antenna, 2m/70cm radios, some with APRS. And I haven't even touched the bottom of this incredible vast hobby. Love it.

  • @dofty Cheers mate!

  • whatantenna were u using?, can u hear 6 meters on a scanner

  • @intemister its 50 to 52 mhz unfortunatly hams insist in using the term meters in stead of quoting the actual frequency or refering to the band as normal people would 50mhz is in band 1 and yes your scanner will pick it up, it sets a bad example no wonder people dont understand ham radio. I am a ham but dont use this method, stick to frequencies and people understand.

  • Very interesting to see how 6 M behaves.

Look forward to getting an antenna up soon to play.

  • hi Adrian! hope you got my message mate. hope to hear from you soon. great vids keep em' coming.

    73's Caine.
