  • I wish my kitchen was as big as hers, my kitchen is 6 ft. wide by 9 ft. long. I HATE it!!

  • @wayne1955 I wish mine were clean!

  • Nancy how do you do it? Your kitchen is so small and it seems that you can find everything in the kitchen . My kitchen is small and organized , but sometimes , I'm lost trying to find something. God bless you , you make me smile! Also your a good mom trying to make something warm for your son to eat, Bravo! Maria

  • @cubalakeland Thanks! Being around him again at Christmas just makes me feel incompetent!

  • You're a very creative, unique and interesting person, pay no attention to people who criticize your home. Your house is beautiful the way it is!! You actually LIVE in your house unlike most people.... the ones that are preoccupied with what others think...

  • @KimberleySue4 Thanks!

  • first time i have seen someone cook on top of the washer and dryer..

  • a girl after my own heart 'she knows the words to handel's messiah!'

  • @hell0hkitty Do you know them too?'

  • @NancyToday just about nancy, its one of my favorite oratorios. i listen to it so often that i can sing along too here and there. these pieces are so inspirational, and the epitome of Christmas for me!!

  • I think all these gadgets over-complicate (and over-clutter) our lives. I prefer making my grilled cheese the simple old fashioned way -- in a pan!

Never realized that cheese causes congestion; good to know! :D

  • Nancy I think youre a Hoarder

  • And disorganized to boot. I'm trying to dejunk, but it's taking forever! There is progress since this was uploaded, though.

  • I didn't mean to offend you I was just saying :P

  • No offense taken. I do use 9/10 of what I have, though. Not much here is sentimental except for the mugs!

  • I used to have one of these and loved it...wonder where it is...hmmmmm

  • Grilled cheese was the first thing I tried to master when I was young, always ended up thin and squishy and I don't think the press would help that. Found the secret to be putting on a thin a layer of butter as possible (talking about 50% vegetable oil "butter"). Just to allow it to toast and melt cheese without burning it is all you need.

  • I was thinking about your sandwich press. It kind of looks like the express 101 thing they sell...I wonder if those recipes would work with it? You could probably find the recipes online. Great find with the sandwich press! and the sandwich looked yummy!

  • mine doesn't 'cut' the sandwich when you close it. MUCH better like that.

  • i can't live without my sandwich thing! i put whole eggs in it and everything, even make 'sweet' variations with apples and cinnamon... they are a must have in every home in australia,

  • We have one of these and we used to do warm sandwiches, eggs, bacon... at work, in the company kitchen. It was a very good way to save money on lunch. Someone dropped it and it cracked, but is still working. Good thing you reminded me of it...

  • You Are Very Good To Your Son Nancy!!!! Good Job With the Grilled Cheeses!!!! I saw A Sandwich Maker at "Goodwill" and it Looked Neat, Maybe I Might Get One!!!! ~Erin

  • I have one of those I make grilled ham and cheese sandwiches.

  • I think it's great how he can go outside in the cold with something warm for his belly. You are such a good mom.

  • I got one of those for our wedding. At first I was kind of disappointed, but it turned out to be really good for quesadillas! :) I also wouldn't suggest buying one, though.

  • Your dump must be a lot different than my dump. After we dump stuff at our dump a big bulldozer comes by and crushes everything.

I have one of those sandwich grillers. I make grilled cheese in it all the time. It's really good if you add a few sundried tomatoes with the cheese :)

  • I have always wanted one of those but have not wanted to spend the money on it. I am waiting to get one for a dirty santa gift or at a yard sale.

  • I had one til it shocked me. I guess it just got old. I did love using it.
