  • Thanks for this video! I tried the look and loved it!!!

Just for people who don't have a huge budget I found JK eyeshadow at Target that is the same as the green and purple, but only really visible if you use a primer on your brush...(I use Visine, just dip your brush in Visine and squeeze off excess with a paper towel, works as good as the expensive stuff!)

  • Visine? Like the eyedrops?

  • Yeah, the eyedrops. It works pretty well.

  • borning

  • Awh, it reminds me of the Joker, haha. :)

  • I hate makeup tuturials like this.. ugh.. just talk and show us visually..

  • well u r tho!

  • lol. You're funny. I like you! :P lol

  • Ok, so I tried this look yesterday, and it came out okay - but I don't have as large of an eye base, so I think it made me look a little morbid...and, I know, I didn't blend enough :-) But I'm going to try again!!! and I'm going to look for new brushes, because mine are too stiff. Too fun, I love your videos!

  • Thanks!! It's important to just keep practicing...especially with blending. I know that sounds lame but trust me, I couldn't blend the same way now as I could 6 months ago. :)

  • You are so gorgeous! :) Nice makeup, thanks.

  • Thank you! And you're welcome! :)

  • Excellent video!! I'm going to try this tomorrow!!

  • wow this makeup has given me something really new. hmmmm i am thinking of making a green dress with lovely purple embroidery!

  • Thank you...and I'm jealous. I've always wanted to learn how to sew and to get a sewing machine and make my own clothes! :)

  • you're so good with color! your makeup always looks perfect!

  • Thank you :)

  • If you didnt have the colors you used, could it turn out the same way? xD stupid question I know.

  • Yep! Someone who wathed my video posted the look on a makeup site and she used different colors, but came out with the same affect. If I recall correctly, instead of using Golder's Green and Violet pigments, she used MAC's Juxt and Parfait Amour eyeshadows. :)

  • lols

  • Gorgeous! I love green and purple together! I never thought to alternate the colors of the liner like that either...Thank you for doing this!

  • You're welcome! Thanks for watching! Glad you liked it. :)

  • Very nicely done! Not too much and not too little of it on! Good job! ;)

  • Thank u :)

  • awesome vid. i LOVE mac. that's like $70 on your eyelids.

  • lol...well I never really added up my makeup as I'm wearing it, but I guess you've got a point there. lol :)

  • so thats how you do the eye shadow. you made it perfectly clear. mostly the other videos i watched dont show i they did it. only an after picture. i love this video. my number 1.

  • Wow! Thanks! Glad you liked it :)

  • U're welcome! :) I'm serious...it's really good! Ppl say I'm good...but compared to u..... :)

  • Oooh, very nice! I liked how you alternated the colors on top and bottom!

  • Thanks! =)

  • Awsome colors

  • Thanks! =)

  • it looks good especially how you blendend the colours

  • Thank you. :)

  • How long does it take to achieve these looks? Additionally, how do you get the eyeshadow colors to hold their shape so well? When I blend, the colors literally blend! (together!)Thanx

    Signed ~ a novice

  • Well, when I do the looks without being interrupted by taking a picture after every step, I'd say it takes me about 20 minutes. Techinically the colors are supposed to blend together, but not all of them together in one swoop. lol. Basically when I put the eyeshadow on, I put it on where I want that color to be, then brush/blend it into the other color next to it, not all over the entire lid. Hope this helps.

  • I love your style of makeup. Can you please post videos that show you applying eyeshadow in real time?

I really need to see the methods you use to blend.

    Thanx.

  • I'm trying get my husband to find the cord for the video camera that he has. Its a digital one but the battery is dead. As soon as I can get him to find that, I'll try to put some "video" videos up. lol. =)

  • Yep, I still like the passion purple best.

  • lol, thanks. :)

  • you are SO talented!!! keep it up!

  • Thank u =)

  • i had to stop the video. that song was the most worst country white song ive ever heard

  • Well, everyone has their opinions. Sorry you didn't like the song. But if you still want to watch the video, you can mute the sound on the little earphone thingie on the youtube "TV". lol =)

  • BTW, I'm trying to make the videos without country music since not a lot of people like country. =/

  • You are very creative! I need this kind of video to convince my hubby to buy me more makeup! lolx!!! :D Great job there girl! :)

  • lol...thank you!

  • I had to watch this on mute >.<; Me no like country.

  • lol...sorry. everyone has their own tastes. lol thanks for watching either way. =D

  • this is beautiful! Love it. THanks for sharing!

  • Thank you! Glad you liked it! And you're welcome! =)

  • beautiful, thanks a million for posting it! love it!

  • You're welcome! Thanks for watching it and for the compliment! =)

  • It does look great, but SO Many products!

Is there another way to have fun with 2-3 products?

  • you could skip the eye paints and just do the eyshadow, but the paints act as a base for the eyeshadow, kinda like when you apply foundation before powder...it gives the shadow something to hold onto. And the base keeps the shadow from creasing if you wear the makeup for a long period of the day. You could also skip the bronzer part too. I just add the bronzer as a "natural" color to allow the purple and green to blend into the skin tone more naturally.

  • So pretty! Love it! Please post more videos!

  • Thanks. I'll do my best.

  • Gorgeous! Brilliant! love this look! thanks for posting!

  • Thank you
