My favorite Johnny Depp characters are Mort Rainey, Sam, Gilbert Grape, Edward Scissorhands, Captain Jack Sparrow, and Sweeney Todd. Actually I think I love Gilbert Grape and Sam the most, seeing how sweet they were. But you gotta love his brilliant yet crazy characters :)

I was barreling through DVD's looking for something to watch, with horror flicks in my head, or something suspenseful. (People make fun of me cause I'll 11 and like horror flicks) And I found 2 of my faves. Knowing and Friday the 13th (#4) and secret window. I'd seen the other 2 a million times, but never secret window. So I watched. Not half bad. Good performance. I didn't like when the dog died..:'( (people also make fun of me cause I am softy about animals, cause those peep are jerks) 5/5 vid

well, perhaps mort's not my TOP favorite but he's definately in the top faves of my johnny depp characters, he's just so brilliantly insane, lol. i love jack sparrow like everyone else but there are many more fave characters of mine that come before him. i don't know about anyone else but i'm really looking forward to this new film he's doing called "public enemies" i think that's the title.

nice faves! i would have to say my top faves are:

blow. sweeney todd. secret window. fear and loathing in las vegas. willy wonka. pirates. and gilbert grape is special to me cause his portrayle of an older sibling caring for his mentally challenged younger sibling hits very close to home since i help care for my brother with autism/developmental disorder/epilepsy which can be challenging at times. when i first saw this film it brought me 2 tears. anyways that's my list!
