  • linterna maglite

  • Wow, no offense but this is kinda sad.

  • c'mon man a video of your flashligth

  • lol the quality of the video isnt that good

  • I have the same light on my keychain. its been there for about 10 years now good light. I'd like to get my dad one for x-mas can anyone tell me where I can find them. Mine was given to me

  • @GrowMoreBuds its probaly too late but there at walmart and lowes

  • I used the LED upgrade from eBay, much brighter than stock bulb. But flashlight will not close all the way, not waterproof anymore, no big deal though. The aftermarket LED was supposed to last 100,000 hours--- it lasted only 2 years. (Maybe 300 hours use) Been dropped lots so who knows why it failed

  • agree 100%!

  • Stupid character count.

Most people aren't trying to blind people with their flashlights and most people aren't flashlight fanatics. Most people wouldn't know a lumen if it smacked them in the face. Those of us who give two hoots about lumens and runtimes and the lifetime of a bulb or LED are few. Accept this fact, please. The level of snootiness seems to be higher among flashaholics than guitar people, knife people, gun people and even fountain pen people. Sheesh.

  • Even if my little Solitaire runs out of juuice, there's a spare bulb in the butt of the flashlight so you'll probably have bought another flashlight by the time both bulbs hit craps

  • No, it doesn't light up a room. It wasn't meant to. It's meant to be a light that you can have with you whenever you need one. If need be, use it to find a more powerful light and then quit griping about how dim it is. The Solitaire is also now about a third of the price of the E01 and can be found at Wal Mart, Target, Sears, etc. Most people have never heard of Fenix, let alone seen one in person. And for some people, the Solitaire is good enough on a key chain.

  • Fer cryin' out loud. Comparing the Solitaire to the E01 or anything else in the Fenix line is ridiculous. The Solitaire is old incandescent tech and Fenix uses more recent LEDs. Of *course* the Solitaire is weak compared to Fenix's lights. When the Solitaire was introduced it was about as good as it got for a key chain light. I've got one that still lives on my house keys and it's actually come in handy a few times.

  • where did you buy yours? mine just came in a blister pack w/out the battery.

  • I have this flashlight and it's a piece of shit. I put a brand new battery in and the bulb flickers when I turn it on I should have gotten a fenix eo1

  • you should try changing the bulb, it shoud have one behind the spring

  • Oops...typo, E01 has 10 lumen output. The Mag Sol is definitely a paltry 1 lumen, though.

  • 'reneir0492' - I'm afraid you are quite wrong. The Maglite Solitaire has a tiny incandescent bulb and it has 1...yes, ONE lumen output. Not 5.

I agree, the Fenix L0D is very nice....but overkill for the keychain market. But the Fenix E01 has 12 lumen output, is smaller than the Mag, cheaper to run and will likely never need a bulb repalcing (100,000 hours). So I'd advise people looking at this mag to buy that instead.

  • @slitheen BETCH! Led lenser or fenix might be stronger but nothing beats maglite's strength and durability! Even if maglite solitaire's light is not as bright as other LED'S it will still last a lifetime! Those leds will probably last not more than 5 years but MAGLITE solitaire can last a lot longer even when beaten up daily on your keychain.

  • how many lumen does it have?

  • that peep squeek only has 5 lumens, you should check out the fenix lod ce

  • Donnerwetter! Er hat´s geschafft!
