youtube video quality sucks, phone resets A LOT on its own & i ordered a second ocean2 for proof of that, very disappointed in the settings of the phone; you CANT do anything while the phone is closed. you cant even watch a video while the phone is shut, internet browser "nothing special". i can keep going all day but honestly i wouldn't buy another.
Mine resets sometimes also and the youtube app doesn't play all the time. You can watch youtube videos when your phone is closed if you open up the web browser and go to youtube instead of going through the app. It's dumb but it works.
the touchscreen hype will be played out soon enough. i had a sk08 though inferior i got addicted to the myspace app like the above poster i was on myspace like there was no tomorrow. i was uploading pics like it was going out of style. im sure if or when i get the ocean 2 i will have a networking orgasm because im addicted to twitter as well as i had a friend that had either a hero or heat and it was hot.
It's kind of bulky, but it does a lot. Especially if you learn how to use Opera Mini browser. I bought an Duracell cell "extra juice" battery charger and can stay out longer now.

Thats a little upsetting, I love that flash because I use it as a flashlight sometimes because it's so bright, LOL. Do you know how much memory the phone can handle with MicroSD? screw those phones, wait for the palm pre. A lot of phones come out and say they are the iphone killer but they never live up. I just checked out the G1. It has a 5megapixel camera. So that's cool. However, like Iphone, there is a separate data and voice plan. I would find out if you can send and receive txt & video messages. Also, you cant remove the battery yourself, like the Iphone. Another money trap. And if the Iphone is anything like the Ipod, I would guess that the harddrive sucks and will give out on you. G1 seems cool.
Why waste money on this. I spent months preaching to my friends how cool Helio was when they WERE cool. Now all my friends have dropped Helio. I got a G1 and wouldn't think twice about going back to another Helio.

They're plans are exactly like that. You pay depending on the amount of minutes you need. Everything else is included and unlimited.
It's basically Sprint's Everything Data plan (because it's on their network).

I grabbed a ruler and measured mine:
length (unslid) = 4.5 inces
width = 2.25 inches
deep = .6 inch, just over half inch
length (slid out vertical) = 6 inches
width (qwerty slid out) = 3.5 inches

Great video! I have the first Ocean and this one doesnt seem that much differently at all, so I dont know if I will buy this or not. Did you say no flash on the camera? Thats a little upsetting, I love that flash because I use it as a flashlight sometimes because it's so bright, LOL. Do you know how much memory the phone can handle with MicroSD? That's what I was really looking for. Thanks!

iPhone can't receive or send MMS and doesnt have bluetooth. ocean 2 is better with up to max of 5 website at a time bcoz of its tabbed browsing.

screw those phones, wait for the palm pre. A lot of phones come out and say they are the iphone killer but they never live up. But people who actually got a hands on look of the palm pre and are proud iphone owners said they finally want to give up their iphone for this phone and are amazed by it. No one seems to give reasons why but its worth to check out

I just checked out the G1. It has a 5megapixel camera. So that's cool. However, like Iphone, there is a separate data and voice plan. I would find out if you can send and receive txt & video messages. Also, you cant remove the battery yourself, like the Iphone. Another money trap. And if the Iphone is anything like the Ipod, I would guess that the harddrive sucks and will give out on you. G1 seems cool.

Why waste money on this. I spent months preaching to my friends how cool Helio was when they WERE cool. Now all my friends have dropped Helio. I got a G1 and wouldn't think twice about going back to another Helio.

Damn I was waiting for this to upgrade and its a down grade only thing I like is the menu change other than that, no auto focus on the camara and no flash? WTF? All the improvements they made on this phone are useless junk. In addition to what you have pointed out, I was hoping to have a much large screen. They screwed up. Comes in other colors such as silver and black i believe.
Helio says their going to come otu with more colors later as well but who knows when thats gonna be.
Basically i think Ocean 2 is just the same a s Ocean but different looks.
They probably gave up but just made it because people kept complainning about the delay helio made with the ocean 2

exactly the same as the first with a little extra goodies. its definitely for teens. VM has this, t-mobile has the sidekicks, at&t has way to many, etc. it looks more designed for females and males with girl fingers.
