Dude, you are a fucking God of video editing. As a huge fan of both Terminator and Sevendust, this absolutely blew me away. I cannot help but be awestruck at the sheer passionate effort you showed in making this video. Some three and a half years ago I made a music video for my favorite Sevendust song (Black) in which I aspired to match this meticulous detail in editing, but it doesn't even stack up at all in comparison to your masterpiece. I've watched this multiple times and have may have commented before it, but this is still your magnum opus. I've not seen a better music video on Youtube that matches up the tone of the music and the lyrics of the music to the movie as great as this one.

And the part with the time travel I wanted to simulate the Terminator going back in time so I took random footage from the Terminator DVD menu and spliced it with Arnold arriving at the truckstop in T2.

I agree the first Terminator is the best. Practical great make up effects will always beat the best CGI effects in my opinion. I love the first Terminator for it's raw low budget quality. Also for it's sci-fi horror feel which is the only one out of the series that has any type of horror feel to it.

I agree. I don't like war films in general 'cause I find them boring, and Salvation was boring too. I wish it had been an action movie. I miss Arnie's terminator though obviously he's too old for the role now. Kudos to him for being so extraordinary at the age of 50 though. WOW.

This is the best Terminator vid I've seen on Youtube. The intro was bad ass. I have a question. Where did the part from 1:00 - 1:06 come from? I don't remember that being in the movie. It was almost like it was showing the Terminator going through time travel.

Thanks :) I extracted a piece of the menu from the T2 DVD and kind of combined it with both parts from T1 and T2 where the T-800 arrives. Just like you assumed, I wanted to simulate an effect of Skynet sending the Terminator back through time after being built.

its in the special features DVD if you have the full collections one. actually it used to be shown quite a few times when it comes on TV (about 12 years ago on BBC) as a intro before film starts (like a trailer) but it stops doing that for a long time when quite lots of parts got cut out from first and 2nd film, stupid really cos i like the full intro, it was well done.
