Macy's Great American Marching Band 2009

220 people from all states of the U.S. went in 2011 in this band

395 people from Hawaii are going to Macy's 2011 thanksgiving parade this year

and i'm in it :D

Great memories!!!!! I am so happy to say that I was a member of this band in 2009. Every time I watch this video I get a tear in my eye and great memories always come back. I know that many other Macys Alumni get the same chill when they watch their past performances on here. Thank you so much for posting this!

Thats hard to do because you have no yard lines and stuff as a reference point.

@Tenifus It's not that hard actually, just use peripheral vision and know to keep the interval and know where you are going and you would be in great shape! :)

I miss this so much! Anyone going in 2010 will have one of the best experiences of their life. You will make lifelong friends, and do things you never have before! It has definitely been the greatest experience of my life!

To all the 2010 members of the MGAMB, I can tell you that your week in NYC will probably be the best week of your life- it was for me. The friends you'll make are amazing, the memories are unforgettable, and there is no greater feeling than marching in NYC and performing in Herald Square. Have a great time, and treasure each moment, because I can guarantee that Thanksgiving 2010 will be a day you will never forget.
