  • Omg. You are so irritating when you speak. If you wan't a yellow skin tone and Like it Then it's not our problem.! If Any products sell Foundation it's not racisme too? You are making a small thing to an issue. I wan't to have a brighter face and I Like the cream. And I'm so thankfull that they sell theese products. Thumbs down to your, sorry

  • Awesome video ! WELL SAID :)

  • you are the one that is racist. Most of the asian want to have a skin tat is like a egg, more white and bright! In fact, if your skin is really alot of yellow, that is so something wrong with your own liver!

  • u r crazy.it jz means wan to make it dn luks dull.

  • well,,, i simply think tht loreal thingy is for women who wans it. dun think it says woman shud look like her. dun u think >?

  • MJ didnt made himself "some other color" like you say He had a skin disease called Vitiligo Which was something he couldnt control. look it up. But i must say i agree with the other things u say

  • Pufferfish may not have put the most eloquent argument forward but her sentiment is spot on. Cosmetic multinationals like L'Oreal will spend obscene amounts of money exploiting people's insecurities for profit. No matter how ugly the that insecurity is. Maybe it's some kind of a colonial hangup where people are their ashamed of their skin. There's a reason why these whitening products are sold mainly in Asia and Africa. Modern remains of colonization include internalized racism and that's sad.

  • hi there, I think you're overreacting (; and maybe you're racist yourself suggesting that this cosmetic is only for Asian people. I am caucasian and I have pale skin with freckles and yellowish tone. so I use the cream to lighten my skin. in my country it is very popular to have a fake tan. I want my skin to be white, cause I think it looks nice. what's the big deal? it's a matter of taste.

  • @wachnowicz plus, are bronzers racist? :/

  • the girl in the ad looks latina

  • like like like so true

  • The term "Yellow SKin" just means dull, tired and uneven skin. Making it more pink means getting ur skin to be more even, translucent and rosy. I don't see any problem with it.

  • @ariesapril

    agree

  • IKR! I can't stand those French faggity bastards! They are just sooo jealous of Asian, Black, Indian, and all kind of people who are of color or a different ethnicity than "white" because we all have beautiful skin color than plain old white. I'm not racist but I can't stand people who think their color is MORE beautiful than any other color. BTW FRENCH PEOPLE ARE HAIRY AND SOME OF THE WOMEN LOOK LIKE MEN WITHOUT A DICK!!!

  • I think if people in general all around the world, just accept themselves and love themselves just like them are, this kind of products will be no more. This products exist because people are wanting them..And is sad, because is just like you said, a little girl/boy watch this advice and in her/his mind is gonna stuck "i have to be like this to be "better" "Is sad..People need to change their view of the beauty. Beauty has to be your natural self, just who and how you are. I hope see that day

  • I agree with you Pufferfish and L'oreal got in trouble for Racist Discrimination.

Heck L'oreal did a photoshop of Beyonce trying to make her look White. They got in trouble.

Screw L'oreal, btw MJ had a skin disease called Vitiligo

  • Tanning can be done naturally by sunning, whereas the same can't be said for lightening skin.

  • I see nothing wrong with yellow skin. Sadly these ads exist and they must be called out.

  • I agree. Unfortunately, this kind of advertising in Asia is the norm, and seems as though it's going to take a very long time for the media to do something about it, and that's if they actually choose to listen to the outraged minority.

  • @Marllon actually...you could hide in your house and never let the sunlight touch you. J/K

  • @harrowingXhills

um, the point u r missing here is tht selling a product isnt a crime but advertising it in a way tht - as pufferfish so kindly explained - actually makes out tht the natural colouring of asians is not wanted is kinda rascist.

either ways, i bought it. and it kinda sucked so, failure as a product as well : p

  • Boycott Loreal's whitening products!!!

Switch to Kose, Shiseido or Kanebo!!!

  • i stop using loreal white perfect coz i look like a fairly sick, but i like the idea of not looking pale but sometimes yes it can be a lil bit racist right, plus its not that good anyway, i stick to olay total effects still fair mah

  • wow! that is so true..i was wondering...y do we hv to look pink?? awkward...

  • L'Oréal, Lancôme, Dior and a lot of other brands are making millions by selling their whitening products in Asia.

Asian women are into whitening. I dunno, it"s part of the culture. It's very normal to use whitening products there.

In Europe or America they are selling tanning products so you know...

  • This is so true and I was shocked by it. I work with some asians and filipinos and one day while at work i saw one of the filipino magazines someone left on the table and I started flipping through it and on almost every other page were advertisements for skin-whitening creams and products. One ad actually said "The Power Of White Skin".... the message I got from all those ads was they think its a bad thing to look asian which is totally ridiculous. Its sad they dont like their own skin color

  • well its the same story over here, "bring out your inner glow" and all that, glowing doesn't just mean looking tanned you know!

  • L'oreal was recently found guilty of racism in Britain. They were found guilty of discriminating against Arabs, Blacks, Asians, and other minorities. As an African American, I was also upset. They were also accused of lightening Beyonce Knowles skin tone.

  • @ccmuffingirll: OMG you know what: in France too!! :O

  • Yeah, a lot of European countries are having at them. I think I read online that Germany had an issue with them, as well.

  • First, No human is Yellow unless you have a liver the size of a football. People are different shades of brown. Second, mixed is a racist term. Third, You are very pretty, just buy different magazines and buy from the cosmetics counter at Macy's. So There!

  • Hehe thanks for the compliment. What I tried to say was 'yellow undertones', cause no one is really 'in-your-face' yellow, and oriental people are relatively more yellow looking than others. A lot of (not all) asian women try to achieve this 'rosy pink' look and dislike the yellowness, which is sad. PS: Here 'mixed' is not offensive. In fact people like biracials/multiracials. Thanks for watching and commenting :)

  • love your videos! so pleased im subscribed!!!!

  • Thank you!!! :D

  • You are on a roll. Keep making videos. It is great to see you on this video marathon

  • Thank uuu Asa :)

  • where is my comment?? I've posted a comment 2h ago!

anyways... I said that you're right. but I don't think that it is racism because it is not a problem in asia only. the north europeans penelope cruz tells that it is great to have darker skin and dark hair... I think it's just a way to make women buy their products because women think that they have to look like the model on the photo. you are yellow and i'm white, that what we are, so what? ;)

    5 stars!

  • Lol, thanks :) I think white people look great being fair or pale or whatever they call it now :D

  • hihi, and i like the yellow skin colour of asian people ^^

    I think it's pale or white but I don't know. doesn't matter.
