Sorry kid, but Urinetown is the wrong show to be showing . You are going to college to major in acting and ballet etc. So is everyone else. You probably suck. And that's not an insult. Everybody sucks in high school. The point isn't to be good, it's to create the passion to be good. You can get good later. When everyone knows you talk shit, you don't get cast. Easy to work with people get cast over talented snobs.
Ry i think we did amazing i think thats all that matters, i'd like to point out that this was a tough show musically AND physically.. Ad i think this is one of the better videos of Snuff That Girl. Just becuase this person is studying performing arts doesn't meant they have great taste in whats awesome and what isn't. They're still entitled to their opinion but to blatantly give only a negative comment about the video and no constructive critisism, shows that they're jealous of this awesomeness.

The kid is a whopping 14 years old and from what I can tell he likes to get into arguments on youtube lol. It isn't a great career move to be pissing people off at 14. We are a small community and you just never know.

I don't get what you even mean about "a bad career move" because this has nothing to do with my career. If you'd like some constructive critisism then here you go: Their is no physical characterization, the ensemble is loosely engaged, the scene lacks tenstion, the dancing is not together at all, the dancing is very low energy, the singing entrances suck..should i go on?
also i dont think these characters were ment to have amazing singing voices either.. i mean come on, these nothin pretty about it. how about this you post your HS version and we'll let you know how good or bad it is..
@paisly Its not about the voices of the soloists. the ensemble members dont even start singing at the same and the tempos are all over the place. the singers are just like picking their own speed to sing at and not keeping it consistant. I'm not allowed to post videos of my hs' show because we dont want people to copy our choreography, set design, costume design, ect. PM me if you want to continue this because I dont want to keep commenting on this, or if not then just ignore me.
ugghhh! i have yet to find a good version of snuff that girl on youtube.. the dancing and ensemble singing are always horrible and this is a perfect example of that. :/

I can't help but notice that you do not have a single video uploaded to your youtube account...I wonder what your profession might be, as well as what gives you the authority to publically criticize others? I can certainly understand and appreciate that everyone has an opinion. In a world with so much negativity, what is gained from a comment like this?
@Rktang85 I am planning on uploading a dance video that I have, but other than that I don't really have any videos of shows I was in. I am in high school right now and training in dance, voice, and acting in hopes of becoming professional, after going to a college and majoring in acting or ballet. I commented because I hate seeing this show butchered constantly. I am in my high school's production now, and it is very serious so I know a ton about the show because of all the dramaturgy stuff
Nice job with the choreography. Glad to see the West Side Story influence in the choreography that's so evident in the song. It's always too pronounced or not there at all. I think this was a nice blend. The singing was kinda hard to hear over the band, but I imagine that was the quality of the recording and not the performance. Nicely done guys.
